I like it dude. At first I was sceptical about what color and methods. Then you brought back the original picture and that thing wasnt gunna see life ever again, and you did your touch to it and brought it inside your house and it's got a new life. I respect that. Nice work it does look better then excepted. Your style isnt mine but I still think its cool
Astonishing. So many beautiful pieces of furniture like this one (that grain on top is just gorgeous) go to the landfill. Whenever I see something on the curb I stop and load it into the truck, and usually people throw away old pieces of furniture that have good bones and just need some TLC to absolutely shine. (Even if it's a piece of crap I check for interesting hardware.)
I would love to hang out with you . I can't get my hubby or friends to stop and "look for junk" I can spot something and see potential in the piece of furniture I find
@@karenjarrett529 I wish you lived closer (what's the chance of that?) because some furniture is just too heavy for me to load and a friend would be great. I loaded a CHERRY CORNER CABINET in the truck a few years ago, took me like a half hour but no way would I let that go! No way. Sometimes taking drawers out helps (if there are any). Just do it yourself like I do.
I am kinda new to watching furniture flipping but have watched different videos from others. Your finished product was beautiful and had the (for me) the very big bonus of good explanations and no perky and annoying music. Thank you! I have subscribed.
I really like wood so the paint is not for me. That said, you skill is clear. No stupid music, clear narration, well explained process. Very enjoyable, thank you. Subscribed!
Nice work, looks really cool. My only small critique is that I generally don't like the paint over wood look, I think letting the natural wood grains show through looks better, so I'd prefer some type of stain rather than a paint. With paint you can't see the natural beauty of the wood, so why even have wood. For me paint makes sense only when the underlying substrate has no natural beauty.
I was ambivalent about refinishing with chalk paint my old pine TV stand which matches my other vintage furnitures, so I guess I would have to refinish it in same pine but modern mat look. Thanks.
For such a young guy, you are so patient! I really loved the look of the finished product! Obviously you painstakingly did the work until you had it perfect! I don't think I would have had the patience you have shown, lol!
Elegant and so Chic. I love it. Glad you did the drawers the same as the top it just gives it that extra something. I would definitely be glad to have it in my home in a heartbeat and I'm one hard to please fussy bunny! Fabulous..
Errmmm...no. It doesn't. Looks more like it's filled with dust and old + cheap. He didn't played with colours & lights of the wood, that usually give that "expensive look". He turned it opposite - into dull looking, "dusty" and suitable more for horror movies than for a bright salon or anywhere else.
Another great video. You are able to change things in the middle of your project. Check what colors are trending for the year and adjust your paint colors to stay on top.
@@FurnitureFlippa you're very welcome. I'll be hooked watching your videos. Back in the 70s through the 90s i would pick up all kinds of furniture on the side of the road. Some pieces i refinished otheres were left as is. Watching these is giving me the fever to try my hand at some of these fantastic pieces.!! Best of luck with your channel. 👍💗
I'm refinishing my Grandma's old and water damaged coffee table tomorrow and I've never actually done a refinishing project. This was extremely helpful and well put together. Thanks for making this project a lot less stressful!
This turned out absolutely stunning you did an awesome job I love the wood with the paint I'm not grey stain looks really good with this piece you so much for sharing have a great day and God bless you
I do this but im too poor to really afford powertools so i have to use good old fashioned hand tools For now hand tools will do but hopefully someone hires me People in the uk are just not bothered about hiring disabled people You did a good job
As a mom, I saw a different purpose for that table. They make thin sheets of legos now that would fit perfectly into the indentation of the table top. It’s a shame those are faux drawers. That would have been a great place to store legos. Wicker storage baskets under the table for storage would suffice. 👍
@@thefreesoulchannel wow! Thanks. I definitely should start a channel. I’ve done a lot of work around my house. Anything from building huge cat condos to renovating a bathroom. Gardening and quilting. Cooking and baking. And we did it on the cheap! No need to waste thousands when you can do it yourself for half the amount. I’ll let you know! You can be my first fan! 🤞🤗
@@KM-fe7xe excellent it would be great to have more content on RU-vid other than political stuff. I would definitely watch ! Keep me updated. Channels like these give people inspiration to complete something that is not normal for them. It can build confidence with achievements all due to your content .
Great video! A little tip for the narrow angles, save your bottle rocket wooden sticks. You can wrap the sand paper around that for those sharp corners.
Thank you for a simple straight forward video. It gets old watching people telling their life story with bad intros and distracting background music while with their voices trying to teach lol.
Wow I'm new to your channel you do amazing work you are also teaching me things I'm trying to do my kitchen table I'm very thankful for your channel God bless and stay safe friend
I love these videos. I'm dying to redo my own old and worn coffee table. I want a new set, but prices are sky high out there and I think I can do something cool with tables on my own. It's worth a shot.
