thank you for being here! i’d suggest finding a routine that works for you and your hair. that includes how often you moisturize and what products you use. grapeseed oil works wonders for my locs, have you tried it? also try using warm water to wet your locs and open the cuticles and then going in with the lightweight oil of your choice

yes, i use a microfiber towel to tackle excess water, they don’t take too long to dry
