Love how some flowers age into a whole a new stunning being. For instance, been cutting loads of zinnias lately. The Queen Lime Red is a favorite aging beauty! She starts so brick red with vibrant green center and fades to a burnished mauve with soft green center. I cut them early in the day to be at their freshest before the heat sets in. Then refresh water daily and a fresh trim of the ends every few days. They last and last! ♥️🌿

Oh that is just lovely. I agree. I love to watch how the flowers age and change! Yes, it is important to cut them in the morning. Zinnias are so cheery right now! Enjoy!!
