How do you get a GST account in Canada?
Most businesses in Canada are required to charge, collect, and remit GST. In order to do this, you should have a GST account set up with the CRA. In order to get a CRA business number, you must either get one through your provincial corporate registry of directly from the CRA. Once you have a GST account, you should be properly collecting and remitting to the CRA.
