I never knew masking tape could be used as a proper method to reglue soles , I just do the old classic way of clamping down the soles and applying pressure to the points that I’m replying using shoe laces for 12+ hours , gonna definitely use this method on my next reglue

How many coats did you apply ? And were they thin coats ?? I’m restoring myself right now and am having trouble with them not sticking. I’m using angelus brand glue

1 coat only at each side. I don’t know for angelus glue.

So wait, how does the steps go. Do you apply the glue first, let it dry, then hit the area with the geat gun after?

Apply glue on each side, wait for 5-7 minutes then stick together. If it is more than 7 minutes, you need to use heat gun before you stick together.

I bought some jordan 11s around august and they already started to unglue from the bottom and the patten leather started to peel off near the soles can anyone tell me why that happened?

That is normal for j11 if the pair you bought is an old shoe. Usually 5-7 years old j11 will start to unglue. And if the pair is stored in direct sunlight or leave inside a car in summer time

@@boxingfan86 no bro, I gave up lol. I'm gonna try this weekend again but there's nothing I was able to find on RU-vid about this. So frustrating cuz I was doing it for a friend and now I f'd up his 11s. Good luck to you bro I'll reach back to you if I find away to fix them
