Have you tried reintroducing foods yet? If so, how did it go and what reintroductions do you have so far?

Yes!! I have successfully reintroduced eggs, nightshades, spices and so much more!! In the beginning it was challenging because I would trigger symptoms but through meditation, positive mindset development and yoga I have been successful!! Celebrate all victories 🎉

I just reintroduced organic Dijon mustard this week. This diet will make you be so more thankful for the little things like that!!

Thank you so so much for this video🙏🏼💛 I’ve been on the AIP Elimination Phase for a few months and I’m finally starting to see long lasting relief from my symptoms. great information, thanks! I have successfully reintroduced several foods after clearing out an infection from my body. Some of these foods I hadn't been able to eat for the last several years. I still have some foods I'm hoping to reintroduce in the future after I heal more.

Hi Shannon!! Love this new video!!! Am currently in the reintro phase and working with a functional NTP. He always asks me what I want to reintroduce next and tells me order doesn’t really matter in his experience in terms of stage 1 and 2 reintros. I’m on my 2nd introduction, black pepper. After failed egg. So far on day 3-4 and feeling good. Praying that’s the case because I love black pepper. My next attempt will be grass-fed ghee. And after that nuts. Good luck to everyone during this phase. I think in my opinion it’s harder than phase 1 because phase 1 has more rigid guidelines whereas phase 2 involves uncertainties.

Hi Michelle! You're so welcome! My naturopath I used to work with told me order didn't matter and I had a really rough time when trying reintroductions out of order (I tried a stage 3 reintro first). Then, later, after getting back to baseline, I went more or less in order and did so much better. With that said, the reintroduction phase is such an individualized experience, and the stages are simply recommended stages.. But some people do switch up the order of when they reintroduce what foods and do really well. Wishing you all the best as you continue to reintroduce foods ❤️

I am so fearful of reintroducing foods, that when I do eat something new I can't tell if it's a reaction or an anxiety symptom 😭

You're not alone...my heart is with you. Working through the fear and anxiety can be so instrumental to the reintro process (and wellness in general). Trusting the process, doing some journaling, talking to a trusted loved one, working on stress relief, positive affirmations, etc can all be helpful. Sending you so much love and support!
