I had the same issue with my hair but I had my own solution. I used to properly comb my a hair and put on beanie for 2 hrs straight and after that when I took off the beanie the hair in my sides and back would be properly settled down. So I discovered about this trick and every day after bathing I used to put on beanie for at least 2 hrs , don't know how but eventually with time my hair stared to properly settle on its own and I no longer needed to wear beanie to settle down my hair. Now I have no more spikey hair sticking from the side like a bush. That was what I did to fix my hair.

Hey Issac I did the whole process, i put the smoothering cream and the paper. After that my hair was flat. But then i rinse it but my hair get puffy again... I applied the neutralism cream and use aconditioner. So, what do you mean by "Rinse Hair" do you mean washing it with water? Thank you So basically 1-I wash my hair and use shampoo 2-I applied the smoothering cream 3-I put the paper 4-I wait 20 minutes 5-I see my hair was flat after i retire it 6-I rinse my hair with water 7-After that, my hair get puffy again... 8-I dry my hair with the dryer 9-I put the neutralism cream, wait for 10 minutes 10-I went to the shower and applied aconditioner. 11-Hair still puffy... Well my hair is still puffy :( why? What should i do? Do you reccommend me to try it again and wait for better results? Maybe my hair is just too strong, should i wait more time than 20 min? I have chinese hair so... Idk I am using the same cream L'Oréal
