Hi Martin, greetings from the UK - love all your instruction and your obsession with impact! I'm getting closer but just struggle to get the hands forward enough. This is my latest attempt (created video response as i couldn't attach link for some reason) and i'm hitting it solid with some great distance but I feel slightly inconsistent probably because my impact isn't quite there (yet!). Would love a forward leaning shaft.
Hey Martin, I was just wondering if you have any tips on how to create a release more like Zach Johnson's with that crazy extension. Right now the only thing I don't like about my swing is my release is very handsy like Luke Donald's and it costs me accuracy quite a bit. What are your thoughts why Luke (and myself) are so handsy and Zach isn't. Thanks!
Pull the butt end of the club to a point 4 inches in front of the ball. Stick a tee in the ground 4 inches in front of the ball then pull the butt end of the club at the tee instead of at the ball

Martin is the second coming to Ben Doyle. Ive been following "all" of Martin's videos.. and he has vicariously transformed my iron play pretty good to people asking me to teach them to hit their irons like I now do. I am not perfect and sometimes still pre-release, but when I hit my 7i solid.. it can't NOT do anything but bore out perfectly straight.. and that sweet "thwap" to the ball, compressing it, is the most unforgettable sound.
