I had been meaning to relocate and change the lights on my Ruckus for a ew years now. When I bought it, it already had aftermarket (small black) blinkers, which weren’t bad. The original owner had made quite a rats nest out of the wires though, he had added a small thing to keep the blinker lights from going into hyper mode. Well anyways, the original wires were still their and unmolested. The little reflector on one side, wouldn’t come off though. The inside of it was stripped and spinning along with the bolt. So, hacksaw it was! That was the start of my project tonight. After that it was pretty 😊smooth sailing. Your video was helpful with identifying the oem wire connection, so thank you!

Your best bet is to just use black crayon over the lens, black out. You won’t even know they are there. PS, models in Asia and Europe, & Australia come with the blinkers already there. Some use clear ones too as oem. It’s only because we need to have orange or red light and we need side reflectors. That is why they come this way in North America. You can relocate the side reflector and be up to code. Visibility is not hindered by this. Add brighter, led lights if you want to be seen better.
Yes, you pull the 4 wires out of the connector. The wires can be a little finicky when re-installing. Once you get them back in, give them a slight, little tug, to make sure they are in properly.
Why would you block up the whole view of what you're doing so other people can understand that you're taking the drill and going in a circular motion to make the hole a little bigger you're not good at recording yourself
Live and learn, right. He had it aimed well on the work area, problem was he blocked the shot. Drilling a hole is pretty straight forward though, so.. 🎉
