I no longer use this as my mod list. I made an updated (and frankly, better) guide with my current one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_eSmSd1NxwY.htmlsi=oehiYFDFcL1CJMh6
@@hntr_official indeed simps that call thems sigma but actualy dont do anything in thair life nor seen a woman have taken over the true modding comunity (sorry for the errors im not english)
bruh i intented to download nolvus because how pretty the grafics looked and how dynamic the combat seemed yet when I gazed into the list more and more hundreds of presets and unnecessary followers it added burned my eyes 😭
Nice list but this isnt a "how to" at all. Coming here as someone who was lookin to learn how to mod Skyrim all I find here is a list of mods, some of which have other mods that are required for them to work. On top of that once you start getting them in there are a ton of conflicts to resolve. Would love to see a follow up video, an actual HOW TO, showing the installation and order and how to resolve any conflicts.
we all know there are many ways to mod skyrim, some aim for the best graphic, others for the best gameplay…but what you did here was getting the best version of skyrim possible in the most vanilla-looking way, that’s admirable
Definitely recommend them along with all of Simon's other mods like Scion and Thaumaturgy! Simon's mods all synergize really well to create a cohesive vanilla+ experience, expanding on and refining existing mechanics instead of adding bloat with a bunch of new mechanics
@@Kaiserker Exactly! That's what a V+ or simplified modlist needs- not an atom bomb of extra stuff, but improvement of mechanics, QoL features, maybe a few immersion and light town/location/interior overhaul mods, and an easy facelift! Skyrim is amazing on its own, but it just needs a little booster seat for the modern day. As far as character progression and mechanics go, Simon's mods are a great and underrated start. Apothecary gets no attention, but it's a mod I can't play without these days. Mysticism and Thaumaturgy do a great job of bringing back some effects from previous games in a balanced and vanilla friendly way. Adamant takes the perk system and reworks the progression to make more sense, but it won't smack you in the head with an almost overwhelming mountain of new perks and mechanics. Currently looking at maybe trying a new perk mod called Master of One... It changes perks dramatically by making ever perk have both positive and negative effects. If only more magic mods were patched in besides mysticism... would be a no brainer, especially when combined with Experience, which is another essential mod I refuse to play without now.
This is a really solid modlist, though I would swapout Amiidian in future for Xavbio's retextures which aim to add a high quality and consistent look to various armour and weapon sets. They also have compatibility with the Amidian mods, so that might be worth looking into as an addition to your base modlist.
@@romeohio19 I agree on that it's not to say xavibo isn't good because it covers a little bit more than amidianborn. Try to make that clear that I'm not trying to say the other one isn't good because it's my backup than divergence
@@romeohio19 absolutely the amidianborn is my go to. If I want to use CC content I use new havens weapon and armor AIO or xavibo because it doesn't require a patch for everything like divergence
@@romeohio19 I'd only use xavibo aio or New Haven aio for that purpose only. But amidianborn imo is still the best looking retexture on nexus at the moment
My brother u did great job the best vanilla friendly mod list I've ever seen you gained subscriber no boobyes no anime looking women no skimpy outfits pure skyrim + amazing 🎉
Dude the fact your at 7K subs blows my mind. I’ve never seen such an in depth accurate show case that really deeply displays every single mod/effect. I know for a fact you’ve helped a HUGE amount of people including myself. Absolutely banging video bro hope to see more✌🏼
This was a really good base to work off for a super tame load order that didn't need too much messing around. Its truly an accomplishment what this list achieves with so little. I never imagined my load order could ever be under 100 mods.
Great list. For those just just starting to mod, know that some, if not all, need like two to four additional mods to work properly. The list isn’t that “lazy.” Thankfully nexus mods will tell you what you need, just make sure you follow the directions for each.
Hey friend, I'm semi-new to modding and I have been looking for some help regarding getting these mods to work correctly. With the Google Doc that is linked in the description do I just need to only install requirements of the mods where he has written in bold? Because virtually all the others have requirements too, not to mention requirements for those requirements, for instance Northfires Photoreal Mountains 3 for Majestic requires Majestic Mountains and then Majestic Mountains require DynDoLod(which seems like a big application and not just a mod) I'd really appreciate if you could help me out because I'm trying to ensure that I have the best experience playing Skyrim. Also I use Vortex but am happy to switch to MO2 if necessary.
yea bro im a bit overwhelmed with all mod lists, they require 4 mods to run, the requirments require like 9 other mods each, at the end of downloading ive put 40 mods just to get the first mod to run, not to mention my load order is a mess and the game crashes before it even loads? why do mods require other mods to run? this seems obvious to me, but they should be packaged together at point of download @@MaxClarke-qf8to
I've just discovered your channel, and I must say you made quality work, presenting mod without superfluous junk and in a way that is easily understandable for people like me who are not native english speakers ( that may not be on purpose, but still greatly appreciated ). You just earned a new subscriber.
Could someone please help me, I'm dyslexic so understanding modding is very hard for me to understand. With the Google Doc that is linked in the description do I just need to only install requirements of the mods where he has written in bold? Because virtually all the others have requirements too, not to mention requirements for those requirements, for instance Northfires Photoreal Mountains 3 for Majestic requires Majestic Mountains and then Majestic Mountains require DynDoLod(which seems like a big application and not just a mod) I'd really appreciate if someone could help me out because I'm loosing my mind here.
@@redshift1 Thanks for taking the time to help me and thanks so much for this mod list. I've longed to find a great mod list like this that stays true to the vanilla game.
@@MaxClarke-qf8to Sorry yeah should've made that clear. Parallax enables a 3d like effect for textures. It's a feature of ENB. You need to enable it by going to the enbseries.ini that you installed and changing the line "EnableTerrainParallax" from false to true.
@@redshift1 Everything is finished but I'm having just one issue I hope u could help me with. Written under Skyrim remastered caves, you note delete/hide dirt cave textures, where are these located? There are no files named this.
I deleted my then current modlist in favour of this one and just wow going through the motions, this is definitely top tier in terms of how much detail and immersion you can get with what is pretty a simple modlist in all honesty. Definitely sticking with this as my basis from now on
Very nice list of mods, I am working on a modlist atm, and I found so many similarities. I love it when you use vanilla-ish textures upscaled vs custom ones due to the stability of the game, happy Little Trees and Water for ENB are really good for that.
Thank you! I was super curious about what you use considering your previous lists. Happy Little Trees has always been a favourite of mine! Rustic clothing is also great. Artefakes seems like an absolute must for my next playthrough, such a cool little change.
Skyrim modding is such bullshit. No matter how many different mods I try and install, no matter the load order or combination, it never comes anywhere close to looking like it does in videos like this or as they do in the images on the Nexus.
Although I had to get through my own trial and errors, eventually this modlist worked for me and the graphics looked as stunning as this vid hinted. Especially the lighting and grass patch were standouts. Thank you for putting together this list.
@@fangzification I ended up installing 100 mods, which also includes mods that I personally added after filling this modlist. So the number when only stuck to the list would amount to...roughly 85 mods? That's what I think at least.
By chance did you run into an error with beards kind of shooting everywhere from certain NPCs? Been stuck for a few days figuring out what is happening
@@rockit14 Never heard of that one...The bugs I ran into were things like NPCs not moving when they're supposed to during a quest, or a chest storing a quest item being invisible. I managed to fix them by installing another mods that are specifically designed to solve forementioned bugs.
all these mods take a way the original atmosphere of skyrim and ruin it. the only mods i ever used was sky ui 5 and better map thats it, every skyrim graphics mod just looks too cartoony and does not have that atmosphere of skyrim land.
So you really should just make a mod compilation on nexus or something. Many of the mods you are using here have a laundry list of requirements that are unclear or confusing. Some of which haven't been updated since 2020. The instructions are unclear at a number of points, and many of those requirements suggests you need to use mods that are in direct conflict with other mods or mod requirements. The video is good, I like the list, it's great, but actually making this list off nothing but the video and your file from comments is not a simple process. Also you don't even mention cities of the north in the nexus mods links documents.... but it is in the video.
Thanks so much for this mod order!!! I'll often see people most mod orders that proudly say "100+ mods", but less is more, and the more mods you have the bigger toll its going to take on the game engine. This is an excellent selection!!!
hey, ive got all the mods including requirements but im getting some conflicts. i can go into further detail if and when u reply, (im using vortex mod manager and have put it through LOOT.
mini tutorial: download either mo2 or vortex from nexusmods.com. go to nexusmods.com and click the mod manager download button on the mods you like. download this: skse.silverlock.org/. and your good to go
Skyrim Mod Managers realy need a feature where you can share your Modlist and download them automaticly. So you have the Modlist you wish and "only" needs to set them up manualy, like Nemesis.
Every mod up until the high poly heads mod you had to download on the site separate from Nexus worked for me. I tested by starting a new game after every few mods downloaded. After high poly heads mod, a new game no longer starts, even after I deleted it and it's archive. Anyone have the same issue or any advice?
this can happen if you have conflicting mods. do you use any other npc overhauls? disable those even if you think you've loaded them in the correct order just to check.
For some reason when I use this exact modlist, the LOD looks awful. I use Xlodgen with both texgen and dyndolod 3. I barely touch the settings on the lod generation but for some reason everything looks very low res especially the terrain, like potato levels of bad.
Hopefully you will upload a video version of a tutorial for this one (from vanilla skyrim SE to this).. Tried to follow the written doc, faces some issues. I must be that dumb. huhuhuhu
Hey there! A question for anyone with the time to answer… I’ve always wanted to get into Skyrim modding but have never had the chance. Do mods like these^ specifically the visual ones, carry over to Mods like Beyond Skyrim? Does it improve textures in the new lands added by mods like that?
As a fellow casual(you're clearing more knowledgeable than me) With the Google Doc that is linked in the description do I just need to only install requirements of the mods where he has written in bold? Because virtually all the others have requirements too, not to mention requirements for those requirements, for instance Northfires Photoreal Mountains 3 for Majestic requires Majestic Mountains and then Majestic Mountains require DynDoLod(which seems like a big application and not just a mod) I'd really appreciate if you could help me out.
@@MaxClarke-qf8to same question, some of these mods work, never modded skyrim yet and tinkered with load orders, but when I put on majestic mountains it like destroys the textures when I load in game, if anyone has done only this mod list, a picture of load order and what they chose would help a lot.
.. Hell of a good list guy. I'm fairly impressed.. some ppl don't realize just how tedious and frustrating modding can be. The amount of time put into a list like this can be staggering..
First of all, your voice is very calming so it made watching this video a very relaxing experience. Thanks for that!! Second of all, please, release a nexus collection with these mods if you have the time
Tried installing, but most mods have fomod's and options etc. Kinda confusing, but it looks nice. Perhaps you could update your doc with a bit more detail.
I'm having a problem. I play in a 21:9 screen resolution, and ther's a mod messing with my aspect ratio, i mean.. I have 2 huge black bars at the top and the bottom of my screen. Menues still go over it but not my game! How can i fix it?
I got a slight problem, don't know how or why, but my game looks more brighter than what you had. I have everything installed as it was supposed to. Also, does NPC's hair should have physics as the player or is the hair physics only for player character?
NPcs will have hair physics with the high-poly overhaul. I don't really know about the brightness sorry - though it could definitely be fixed by tweaking in the ENB menu
Please Please Please brother, can you make one for the next gen console xbox series s and x. I am really really fed up of videos that title "next gen skyrim" only to find a list of 100 plus mods that make my game look skyrim: cheap anime edition
redshift. speaking of realism and next-gen, have you come across a mod that gives realistic night shadows - by which I mean, that each of the two differently coloured moons casts differently coloured light resulting in slightly tinted night view for the large copper coloured moon AND a separate shadow (which would make the shadow cast by the smaller white moon actually a little copperish). The smaller white moon's light should imo be rather stronger than what we actually see on a cloear full-moon night IRL, considering how much larger Skyrim's moons (degrees of arc) are relative to our own real moon. Also changing degrees of light based on the moons phases, so the white/copper balance of the light and shadows would vary considerably. Quite a bit to ask perhaps but for modern and next-gen ?
Hey I have a question. I have downloaded every single one of the mod on the word list, including the requirements of each mods in there (which are not written in the doc file). The Pi-CHO ENB for Azurite Weathers put "NAT" and "Obsidian Weather" as required files. But in the Vortex, I got a warning that said NAT is not compatible with Obsidian Weather. What do I do?
Also it would help with a tutorial because each of the files youve listed you dont specify the versions to use Parallax - Or no Parrallax. I want to use these mods but its hard to follow for beginners
Well I tried to install your mods in this order.... but MO2 is telling me the plugins are incompatible and I crash everytime. I apologize I just need more guidance
I appreciate that - this definitely isn't completely beginner friendly. It's for anniversary edition. I've added more detail in the new google doc I made
I finally have a “working” load order using some of the mods you’ve mentioned I would be highly interested to see your entire load order and mod list. You’d definitely get a ton of veiws if you posted a Skyrim Vanilla Plus how to guide
Solid list. i would like to add that skoglendi is also a very nice grass mod. cathedral weather is a great alternative if you dont fancy azurite, and cathedral armory includes amidianborn textures and a mashup of some others that look a bit better imo.
