Guest teacher Matt is back to teach you how to pick up choreography! Learning a brand new dance is really tricky and sometimes dancers can get in their heads and freeze. But, with these dance tips, you will be able to learn choreography much faster. Matt starts out by sharing dance hacks like choreography repetition, visualization, and patience. This dance tutorial is great for beginner dancers, intermediate dancers, and advanced dancers because we can all use some help learning combinations in dance class.

Four tips 1. REPETITION: Repeat the choregraphy as much as you can. Better if you start from the beginning the whole choreography. 2. DETAILS: Pay attention to all the small details of the choreo. The exact position of hands, legs, transitions. Do the choreo copying the exact movements, instead of just doing it and doing it wrongly. Visualize: Close your eyes and o Th choreo. Visualize every step. How it is supposed to look like. Be kind to yourself: Be patient. It's hard to pick up a choreography but try to avoid frustration. Just remember is a progress. Great videos 💙

One way I practice my belly dance is very similar to #3 - I listen to the music in my car or in my house when cleaning and I say the choreo out loud and if I mess up a spot, I start the song from the beginning and hammer it out until I can successfully say/sing the whole dance out loud to the music 💃💃💃

i love how visualization is something you can do to practice everywhere, especially once you have the whole routine and you just need to practice. i visualize in the shower a lot :)

Woah you live in Florida omg HIIIIII!!!! I live in south Florida and there's only one ok dance studio where I live but they dont do a lot of dance categories they only do tap ballet and jazz which sucks I've heard that there are amazing dance studios in Miami but other than that idk

@@davemccarysucks Ik!! You can tell they're bits bc they only have videos on their home page, and not in the video page. (I don't recommend checking-) Second there are some that joined like 15 minutes ago, they all comment something with hearts or heart faces, and they don't respond. It scares me that there are even bots that advertise porn like this. 🤢 I hope nobody falls into it. 🤮
