Using some of the CTV cooler footage to cut another video? Good idea, I'm sure more people are interested in a general WRX front bumper video. :) I'm still looking forward to your Spring CVT cooler results.
2021 STI here... Did this and got my fog lights installed. This is definitely a 3/10 for effort. I never did this once and managed just fine. You can do it as well! Go slow is key and pay attention to detail.
Do a review of a brake master cylinder brace! I got one, and it has improved the stock brake responsiveness enough that I feel it was worth the ~$100 sticker price because it's stopping the wiggle on the master cylinder before it actually starts compressing - which is what's giving us the impression that the brakes are off.
@@akqjtn IMO it's a good starting point, and a cheap (and easy) mod. If you go with the Perrin one, it's a bit on the awkward side from engine side as there's not much space next to the firewall where it bolts on. Getting to the bolt hole from the wheel well is actually fairly easy once you jack up the car as that will give you sufficient space to screw in the fourth bolt. Either way, your videos helped greatly with the sound deadening on my 2018 WRX CVT, so keep up the good work =)
Question, how is that long piece of foam attached on the frame? I just removed my bumper to install a new grille and during the removal it flopped out. It didn't want to stay up in position by itself when I was putting it back on so that made it really difficult. Basically it's just a guessing game as to whether or not it's correctly sitting in there now with my bumper reattached? Any wisdom is appreciated
I can remove the bumper just fine. After putting it back on the sides dont want to snap in all the way flush against the fender. Is there a trick to getting that just right?
Not as difficult as I imagined. Some dickwad cracked my bumper while I was out on vacation. Will totally do it myself if I come across the opportunity now.
