how to remove a battery stuck in camera 

I've never commented on any YT video, but man you've saved my life. Genius!

This was a lifesaver for me too! I’m always amazed what I find on RU-vid. I was in a panic until I saw this and it worked. I used a piece of heavy duty tape but great idea you had! Thank you!

I purchased on Amazon a replacement battery for my Minolta Konica Camera. Even though it "went in" and worked. Getting it out was horrible. Even though it was supposed to fit, it was tight! After I removed it with much finger effort, I charged it and then cut a long piece of thin ribbon from Christmas Wrap. I carefully configured to place the ribbon lengthwise and not covering any "contact" area- slipped the battery back into the camera. The ribbon has two ends both will hang out of the camera but hey, I can put on it and it pulls my battery out without any damage. :) Thanks for your help though.

Thank you. It worked but instead of velcro i used scotch tape and super glue. Let it dry over night and presto. Thank you for the idea.

my battery was being chubby and got stuck, i tried this way using double tape though, it works, thank you so much

This worked like a champ! You probably want to wait 15 minutes after attaching the Velcro to give it maximum time for the glue to set. My after-market battery was pretty swollen and really stuck in there, but the battery came out just far enough to grab onto before the Velcro peeled off. This video saved me $85 that the camera store would have charged just to look at it (yay!) but now I have no excuse for going to the camera store (boo!).

I use a string when inserting swollen battery for easy removal

thx man your idea helpt me, i did it with some ducktape on an origina nikon z7 ii camera with original nikon battery... 2e time i have problems with my nikon z7 ii first time the sd didn't stay in annymore. now again a problem with the spring on somthing mechanical. Never had thes problems with 2 D800, 1 810 and 1 850, they all have same battery.
