Thanks for this tutorial, I’d been trying to get the broken piece out for ever, including trying the glue, but nothing worked. Got both jacks cleared out in a few minutes with this video. And now I know what to do for next time…kids!!
Soooo much easier way to do this… where the screen folds down, there are two small panels, one visible at very beginning of video. Small flathead from top pops them off. Behind are 4 screws with star bits, not sure what size but common. Undo those, as well as the clips referenced in the video (around side of plastic to seat). That entire back panel folds down, the entire plastic piece. You can access everything very easily, no jiggling or bending hoping the popping sounds aren’t too much. Then the rest of the video showing actual removal of item is correct
This is the way. Those four screws are T20 iirc. After removing them just use the flathead screwdriver to pry the plastic panel gently from the seat back cushions starting at each "shoulder" area and the rest of the seat back will come down with light tugging. The module can then be removed by placing two flat head screwdrivers between the module and the housing (the part you see with the three ports when everything is assembled) using light pressure to pull the housing away from the module to release the clips and by pulling it back/up toward the driver's seat without needing to remove the housing at all Full credit to this video creator though. Without this video, I never would have even attempted to dig in. Just wanted to share this alternative method to access everything.
