How to remove a Chinese ATV/ Dirt bike clutch

This is how to remove your Chinese semi-auto clutch for your 70cc, 110cc, 125cc, 150cc ATV or DIRT BIKE or PIT BIKE. The process is similar for manual clutch models as well with a clutch lever.
If your Chinese vehicle isn’t moving when in gear, it could be the automatic clutch slipping thus being warn out. All you have to do is order a new Chinese clutch off of Amazon and slap it in. All should be good.

I envy you, I stripped a screw trying to get the front of it off, apparently the steel is soft too as the screw became one with the front of the clutch.

To all who use this method use a dull chisel the nut loosens counter clockwise, strike the nut at the 9'o'clock position hard once or twice and it should loosen and save the nut.

That’s what I did as well. But ending up damaging the nut. I only bought the tool to put the new one

The clutch on this model engine must be fucked from the get go. Ive had other 110 models no issue clutch works fine off line but slips in turns like a go cart clutch!

Good video. Question is it possible to switch it to a full automatic using parts from 110cc same size engine Honda clone ? For more ease for kids to ride .

To be honest I have no idea. I feel it would be cheaper and less of a headache to buy a fully auto bike or try swapping the entire engine and trans

Can't you can adjust the shifter slop and the dead zone between shifts but you can't adjust the actual engagement of the clutch.

I have the exact same model of that quad but a 150cc what are the reasons why the quad loses power I changed out the clutch about a month ago and now it's losing power it does not want to go up any steep hills

I think I’ve noticed the same thing about mine also with the new clutch. My Chinese atv has been broken for 9 years. And when I installed the new clutch I just thought maybe it’s been so long that I forgot how little power it has. But I’m still able to go up hills with picking up momentum and shifting gears. But I have noticed starting on a hill is rough. That’s the problem with these Chinese bikes, they’re not meant to last long.

wrap an old serp belt around it,clamp it with vise grip pliers presto

You can stick a copper penny In between the gears the coppers to soft to damage anything and you won't have to fight with holding a belt in a wrench.

Sorry, I have no idea. I checked EBay and amazon could’ve find it. Best chance would be to find a used parts bike. Unless I’m looking for the wrong part ?

Hey I have a 300cc icebear zodiac trike and I was about to put it into gear when I pulled it too hard and now it wont go forward... It will go into reverse and neutral but not drive... It's a automatic transmission 4stroke... I stay in Maryland do you have any suggestions or recommendations for me plz help thanks

I want to make my 110cc multi speed. What modal is this and can I change out the gear box easily?

It’s a 2009 Katerra Motorsports DTX110. It’s a 4 speed with no reverse. I don’t think you can change the transmission in these Chinese bikes for more gears. And if you could that would be a massive headache and not worth the time and money to try and find transmission gears that will fit.

If it where a name brand bike like a Yamaha YZ250f (6 speed transmission) and the Yamaha WR250F (5 speed transmission). Then those gears are interchangeable, I think.
