Make sure you still have everything removed in (015/380/350) Reboot the panel by, remove the battery and the power supply. Then power it back up.

Hi. It sound like you don't have the right installer code. When you enter the installers code, are you getting a long beep?

@@JasonTech No, I was until I guessed the right code, Now I get 2 or 3 short beeps, the “Armed” light comes on and the keypad icon appears in the display. Also other programming functions seem to work. I don’t know that I haven’t solved the beeping problem, it’s just that the “Trouble” light won’t go off. If I set the alarm and it doesn’t keep beeping does that mean it’s no longer trying to find a phone line?

@@geoffstrople3611 Just came across this and have had this issue before. If you turned off the right thing the system will no longer look for the phone line but in order for the trouble to clear you have to reboot the system by removing the + battery terminal and remove AC power for 10-15 seconds. Replace the battery terminal and power back up. You will need to know the Master code before doing this because you will have to reset the time for the system. ^6 then 1 this takes you to the Time date setting. Enter the time in Military time 2:25 pm would be 1425 then enter the date dd/mm/yy then press pound to exit. So you have to do this in a pretty steady sequence. * 6 1 1425 02 15 23. Would be 2:25 pm on Feb 02, 2023.

Question, do you have the installer code? It's a easy fix but I would have to do a video on this. Because the Neo system has a lot of steps for the TL280, and I don't know how your system was programmed. But you won't be able to do anything without the installers code.

Yes, you might have a modem that gives you internet and a phone line. Do you know if your modem is a all in one? If you look at the back of your modem you will see a telephone port.

That just means you have a different Keypad. It will still work.

The keypad looks the same but the model is different. In the video I'm using the pk5500 sound like you might have the pk5501. You might have a GSM can you try. *8 - 5555 - 350 if you have a 1 remove the 1 by hitting 1. then go to section 380 if you have a 1 remove the 1 by hitting 1.

@@JasonTech Hello Jason, Thanx for responding. I have my installer code, I discovered it was the last 4 numbers of my old adt monitor account number. I tried *8-installer code-350 it showed (Enter Data 03) so I backed out. The yellow trouble light is on all the time and the trouble code is (ALT Comm.) the system still works fine, no beep warning just yellow light. I'm just trying to clear the yellow light and stop the system from trying to communicate. any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

@@JasonTech I'm trying by pressing ENTER, then master code. After that, the light of arm1 and stay1 are on. I entered 135, it doesn't seem to recognize this section. I try to enter section 100 and it recognizes it. Have you any idea why section 135 is not recognized?

Because that's not your installers code. The installers code is 6 digits not 4. Try pressing and holding 0 for about 3 sec. Can you tell me what alarm panel you have?

@JasonTech I've found in one document that says panel 1738. Does it mean something to you? How can I check to know that? I tried to press 0 for 3 seconds as you ask, but nothing happened.

@@JasonTech I tried that 😂. I actually just had a go at resetting the alarm by removing the battery. And it worked a treat. I will remember that for next time.

Do you mean a time delay? Like when you open a front door, and you have 30sec to disarm the alarm.

You will need the installers code. * 8 (installer code) go to section 301 enter the phone# you want it to call. # section 310 - make a fake Section Account # (like 4444FF) # Section 351- make sure you see a 1, if not press 1 # Section 380 - make sure you see a 1, if not press 1 ## to exit and test it out.

I did all the recommended processes, but it doesn't work. In command 301 should I enter "D" my local area code and my full number even if they start with (0)? I'm doing something wrong. When making changes to #380, the "communication problems" signal was activated. The yellow triangle. I am very sorry, but I need more help. I'm sure there is some information I'm entering wrong. @@JasonTech I did 5555 for code type 350 no number sign tried 1 then ## Still had error tried same sequence with 380 still code. So I tried *8 then master code then 350 possible I hit 1. Now it makes a long beep anytime a key is pressed. The master code was changed in 40. I have been able to change to master code no issues. I Had this happen to me before trying to figure it out. Had to disconnect the power to the unit then functions return.

You can't use the master code. You have to use the installers code.

Press * 8 then the installer code ( Default is 5555 ) Enter 005 Enter 01 Enter the 3 digit entry delay 1 in seconds ( so type 060 for 60 seconds) Then, the 3 digit entry delay 2 in seconds ( Do the same 060 ) Then the 3 digit exit delay in seconds ( I would do 060 ) Press # # to exit programming.

Yes, and with a GSM you need to disable 1 in section 350.

Section 350 didn’t have a 1; so went to 380, managed to turn 1 off. Unsure why error 4 still showing up though. Have done every possible thing I could find from google and your guidance Jason! As long as the alarm doesn’t go off at odd hours (00:17 midnight or 20:00 at night) every couple of days, that would be a win! From New Zealand.

Hi. The Concord 4 can only be programmed with an alpha keypad. Default Installer code: 4321. Default Master code: 1234. Do you know if those code still work and do you have a alpha keypad?

It depends on the trouble. When you hit * 2, What does it show?

If you followed my video, that's how you do it. The beeping might be coming from something else. Hit *2 and see what comes up. I think you have low battery somewhere.

@@JasonTech I should mentioned i have system connected to my router as i using dls software to communicate with the alarm. I wonder if that is what throwing the code? Otherwise i am at loss how to stop the reporting as nothing is there to remove in section 380

@@JasonTech I figured it out with the help of some one else on another forum. I also needed to go to 382 and remove the 5. Here is exactly what worked for me: 1.) *8, installer_code, section 380, option 1 should be off 2.) disable alternate communicator in section 382, option 5 should also be turned off. 3.) section 015 option 7 off. (So in section 015 option 7 must be off, in section 380 option 1 must be off and also in section 382 option 5 must be off.) Thanks for your willingness to help!

Go back to section 015 make sure 7 is gone, if it is removed try removing 1.

@@JasonTech I just tried again and 7 is gone.. but the triangle is still there..I hope I don't have to do a complete reset..I also did the *2 and it have me trouble code 4 .. I checked and its either communications or tamper.. what does tamper mean? I have no tamper switch on my alarm box?

Each sensor has a tamper but that is not a code 4. Try arming the alarm then disarming the alarm and see if that clears it. Do you have a a GSM back up.

it's a cellular backup, if your phone line goes down the GSM kicks in.
