These basic things are not thought in our dental schools that show how low level of skills our graduate pass out despite of paying 4 million rupees tuition fees
Thanku Dr. Faizan This is the much needed video, a day before yesterday my Aunt was anathematizing her dentist for the uncomfortable way he removed the crown, she said he almost broke her normal teeth in the process.... she was asking me that, is this the correct way of crown removal ? I didn't know the correct way.... but now I can tell her so Thanks Doctor for making videos on such important topics.... keep creating more amazing content.... 👍
I had a crown put on two weeks ago. it now must be removed due to it being oversized on the inside side. i am being told i must live with iit or removal will cause the tooth to crack and they will pull it? is this true? it is an upper second to last tooth,
Hii doctor I recently got crown on my front teeths.. but they are too much long or wide than my other teeths my other teeths are small And they are looking outward 3D type What you think I do ?? Crown change karao kisi ache doctor see is it best option or nott Please reply 😭
when I went to my dentist to remove a crown in painful RCT tooth, he pulled a huge weapon and pressed in the crown and crown came out...but it as a terrible experience ..
if i have a zirconia bridge, then i decided to get a dental implant, can we remove the zirconia crown without breaking it so that it can be used again as temporary bridges while the dental implant heals?
A very slight chance that can happen. Otherwise take an impression before cutting the bridge and then give a temporary using that impression after implant placement.
Im needing to get my two front teeth crowns replaced as they look terrible but the dentist scared me because she said I didn't get a root canal and she doesn't want to break my teeth. Is that normal and what would happen if a tooth broke when removing crowns?
Yesterday only my crown has been fixed with cement. But yesterday nd today I couldn't eat anything cz of a sharp pain.. I cant eat from either side of my mouth.. I feel the crown is too high... since i can see a gap between my bite.. I want to throw this crown out of my mouth. i am feeling sick already.. I am not sure my dentist can perform this efficiently or not. After paying alot of money in RCT, still I am suffering.
Can not we remove crown by using laser light ??? Do laser light damage crown (Front teeth crown hai . Also wanted to reuse .want to use double core cement )
The laser used to remove veneers/crowns costs between 50k-100k USD so basically very few clinics in the world have it. Unless you have it or can afford to buy one, the only way is to either use the instrument used to pull off crowns (which i avoid as the tooth can also break) or cutting off the crowns as in the video. Hope that helps
Tough to cut through it. However cut from the center and not all the way through and use an elevator to rotate the crown. Cement might just let it go :)
All crowns can be cut this way, including Zirconia. You just need multiple burs so that the cutting efficiency is still there. I usually use 2-3 new burs to precisely cut a crown. 1 bur for each side of tooth.
@@DRSMFaizangreeting from India sir. Can this method of crown cutting be used to remove only the pontic of a 3 unit zirconia bridge ?? my lateral incisor is missing
@@DRSMFaizansir usually anterior tooth crown kitne saal tak chalte hain ??? aur jo prepared tooth hota hai wo..... with time decay kar jata hai kya ??
