The main cause behind this lack of awareness amongst masses. It's difficult to process the fact that common people don't know anything about dental treatments and oral care , except for the one minute toothpaste commercial broadcast, which has been there since a long time on T.V. Thanks to RU-vid channels like this one which has benefited thousands of dentists, dental students and patients too.👏👏✨✨ I always used to tell my friends that the only difference between us and quacks is the difference of knowledge and expertise. The only thing which has helped me to survive till now is knowledge and a few skills that I learnt from my Seniors . Knowledge is the necessary tool for adding value to the skills we have in us. Every patient does expect a few words of knowledge and wisdom during the initial phase of clinical diagnosis, ie, patient education and patient counseling. This is why I always recommend my juniors to read everyday in order to sharpen their zeal for knowledge which would help them to learn the clinical skills with more enthusiasm.✨ Apart from the correction of facial aesthetics , the greatest advantage of Orthodontics is that it eliminates the need for the surgical intervention in some special cases. Orthodontics and Implant Dentistry are specialised fields. Proper clinical examination, radiodiagnosis along with treatment plan and patient education is required here.☝️ Ortho treatment affects the life of patients in many ways. Also patient education and patient compliance with the treatment is a necessity.🌟 Therefore, the patient needs to visit an experienced and qualified dental practitioner for Implants and Ortho treatment.✨ Otherwise these can become a potential iatrogenic factor for further complications.☝️ Therefore , dentists need to become careful while doing such treatments. Some case discussions related to Orthodontic treatments is a request from my side.✨ Sometimes patients complain about developing TMJ associated problems after completion of Ortho treatment. Morphological changes in the T.M joint pertaining to the altered alignment of teeth is often considered favourable for the effectiveness of the treatment. However , there is no established rationale in literature that justifies TMJ disorder as the definitive outcome of the Ortho treatment.☝️ And there are many myths amongst the patients who underwent treatment, or had a bad experience of treatment. Kindly shed some light over this topic in your forthcoming videos as a part of patient education. Also there is one question that I would like to ask : Orthodontic intervention in early mixed dentition period is much encouraged, what are certain factors that one must keep in mind before initiating Ortho treatment in Pediatric patients, also what are the Pros and cons which needs to considered. This is horrible! Even as a very much fresh graduate, I know that implant is osseointegrated and Ortho forces won't work on it for obvious reasons, how come a practicing dentist did that on such a young patient😬 I'm glad she came to you after this absolute disaster

I have braces on for almost 1 year and there is mobility in my lower teeth for almost 3-4months. I discussed it with my orthodontist and asked him whether i should get x ray or not , he said nothing to worry about. But i am worried as the mobility is quite high and its not stabilising with time , please guide me whether its a case of root resorption or not i am worried. Also there was too much crowding in my teeth and the ortho followed the treatment without extraction. Is the higher mobility due to crowded teeths..???

Dr faizan I had an wisdom tooth extraction almost 1.5 years ago I still feel itching and pain in the area ! My second wisdom tooth is pericoronitis case but because of my first experience is bad I m scared to go for treatment
With lot of respect sir i want to ask to u that i got a braces in last year oct but 2months i got some transformation after tighting bt in January de again tightten my braces i not saw any improvement even it appear too forward that and i had little forwardness of teeth plz dr 😢🙏 reply me why it happened i got negative results
Not alot of time has passed since your treatment has started and some tooth movements are faster and some slowed so as long as you treatment is being done by an orthodontist, don’t worry about it.
After orthodontic treatment is complete, we first have to see if there is adequate space for the implant/crown. If yes, yes you can. If not, then there is no point of bone augmentation. I personally think not.
Wasalam. Braces are done on healthy teeth with healthy gums. Should ideally not be done on teeth that are already mobile but since there is a difference in your evaluation and the doctor’s, i would trust the doctor’s if he is an orthodontist.

Herodontics is when you’re relying only in God for a better outcome and have done little to nothing yourself or you know there is very little hope for a good outcome because books/articles say it can’t be done. This isn’t that, this is jumping into something you don’t know much about.
