Outstanding! Exactly the info I needed. I had to work on it a few times to begin to understand the "grunt" factor needed. For me, leaving the upper on and pointing the muzzle into a pile of rags (cushioning) on the floor in front of my chair, I held the rifle between my legs and pulled as you said. All of a sudden, the pin moved the magic couple mm's and off she came. A BIG thanks!

This is a great stock that feels welded on for a non locking collapsible stock. What I did was take a single strand of 550 cord, put that through the roll pin and wrapped the string around my gloved finger. Came off with little effort.
I appreciate the video as I have this same stock and it sucks not to be able to adjust it. Daniel Defense should change the design and make it easier to adjust. Do you think you can make a video actually showing how you switch grips to remove the stock. It would really be cool to see the entire process is motion?
It was still a pain in the ass though holy crap, especially putting back ON I got a new stock for one rifle, and wanted to move my mil-spec+ stock to replace another rifles plain black one. I got them both off after fighting them, but holy crap was it near impossible to put ON the other one. Pro-Tip: Use a punch to knock out the crush pin, then use the punch through that hole for leverage to pull the tab enough to get it on the buffer tube, then reinsert the pin. 10x easier that way
Done with Daniel Defense. Can’t even get mine on. Had to force it on and then hammer it about an inch. Can’t get it any further without worrying about damage. Now can’t get the F’ing thing off. No sense in this.

A beautiful stock which feels great but it's a pain in the ass to put on and DD doesn't give you any instructions for this shit! Also the back to it has no screws. What kind of shit is that?
How about a novel idea...use a tripod when you're making an instructional video that requires two hands. I know it sounds crazy....way outside the box, but I think it just might work.
