How to Remove A RCA Male Input Plug lodged in a RCA Female Output... 

So simple, so effective. Worked perfectly for two pins stuck in my TV when a soundbar got knocked to the ground, snapping them off. I used one of the very small Philips head screwdrivers heated up on the gas stove. Full 5.1 now restored through new cable. Thanks so much!

That "Hell Yeah!" moment when the pin you have been trying to get out for the last hour comes out as easy as that. Pro tip. Snap the pin off the other end of the damaged cable and practice outside of the component jack first.

This was a great idea. Unfortunately I didnt create a hook on the end of a nail I was using with pliers, so it didnt work. I did it several times and now I think whatever is in the middle of that plug is now thoroughly melted and wont attach. I tried it with crazy glue too but that didnt work either. Should have made the hook.

Well done for an ingenious way of dealing with a difficult problem. Unfortunately I have a similar problem. I have three broken off Toslink optical digital connectors stuck in an amplifier and another piece of equipment. I don't know why that happened, but all three optical leads are the same make, obviously poorly made, although I used them a long time. I can't use my fingers to grip and get them out. Do you have any ideas? Do you think your method would work with them? I kind of think Toslink optical connectors are badly designed anyway, the way they fit inside and the way you have to push and pull to get them in and out.

Is it ok that I used a needle and hamered it in and pulled the needle out and I removed it

where do and or how do i get anything to fit in there i couldn't seem to find anything that could even fit into the jack please help? im trying to save my sub-woofer im really upset that some how someone cause i doubt it was me got the left speaker jack to break off into the back of the sub idk how or why or when which made me more pissed when i realized my left speaker wasn't working then i realized why smh so please any advice or tips that could help will be appreciated.... ive tried a flat head i found in my basement even tried a circle star screw driver that i borrowed from my bro.... its smaller then the flat head but still i little to big to make it passed the entrance of the Rca output maybe some extra tips?

I got the exposed center of the male rca plug out, but the metal casing was still inside, loged in deep. So, sadly, i can not use my av sockets in my nes anymore, so i will have to use coaxal. But, great video, if only i was more patient :/

HELP! , that happened to me with my active subwoofer. I removed the rca from the inside of the subwoofer. BUT now the Subwoofer is making Ground sound. and no Bass its coming out. help anywone?

and also my left speaker rca jack is still broken so what do i do about getting the left speaker to actually work once the jack is functional again??
