Tried it. Method works great. It’s easier if you use a smaller knife. I used a small 2 inch blade. Got it off in 15 seconds. No one is going to see the back of the monitor anyway.
brilliant. Mine method is better. I just take a saw and saw it off. Really easy. When I wanted to use the stand I just got super glue and glue it back.
Hello you have to get a flat head screw driver and pry it open from the bottom it’s screwed in via Philips head screws. Awful awful awful design. Hope this helps I just did it myself and popped it back in myself
Just pause the video and see the space how much they provide. I read those steps given in manual already, but it not working. Just think if it's working why so much people search video on this topic.
I agree that last piece from the monitor which you talking about. Don't use knife that time I not have any think that's why I took knife. when I try to pull stand from monitor my mobile stand fallen on floor and that mean time video not recorder. moral - use thin metal so it can remove easily without any damage.
Really this is stupid.... If this is very easy to pull why people getting trouble?? I not have that time thin strong matterial those days. So I use knife which not use at all. Not have even sharp blade so I am safe. It's might be stupid but it's working 👍 great.
My monitor screen was safe when it was down on the floor. Not a single destroy or demage happened. Might be some mistake you found but my desktop every part are good condition
I actually don’t mind this. I watched a video on the other way and you’re supposed to open the back and take off the whole monitor backing, in order to take off the stand. Either way you have to pry on the plastic. It’s a terrible design. No one is ever going to see the back of your stand anyway. At least this way you don’t have to pry off backing of the monitor to put the stand back on if you ever want to use the stand again.
Dude, there has to be a way to take that plastic thing out of the back without using knives... these things are designed to work either with a vesa mount or the original stand.
