Just want to give you a big thank you for making this easy to follow video. Just replaced the steering rack on my spec v. What a nightmare. So happy to see how easy it is to clock the steering wheel. Thanks again.
Do you need to reset the Air Bag after the replacement? And can you tell how to remove that lower cover under the steering wheel on 2009 Nissan Sentra? I need to get access to the small white connector, which allows to reset the TPMS (I might need to replace the Tire sensors). Are there any screws there or just it can be pried off. I can't figure out, not much in Haynes book, can't find any films, afraid to break smth, if there are any hidden screws for that cover. The film is very useful. Thank you.
David M 0 seconds ago Thanks partner, must one remove the wheel and clockspring to replace the lighting combination stem or can it be accessed by simply removing the inner shroud?
AJ Amaya thanks, do you by any chance know what the harness should look like or what its called? I have a donor car i can snag it from. Looked all over google, but i dont know if i have the right search words
albert karikoski I’m not sure, I’ve never seen a b15 Sentra with audio controls on the steering wheel. You may have to make your own, if your radio supports external controls.
The bolt on the left on my 04 X is a security bolt and you don't bother to mention some will be like that. How about telling us how to find that wrench
I had two Sentras there as you saw. Of different years. There wasn't a security bolt in them. Had I known I would have mentioned it.it sounds like you're going to have to drill that out.
I believe that you will need a Torx 30 security bit to remove the airbag and don't strip them or you're finished, I think I'd go with a T handle - buena suerte!
