Never thought of the hair dryer trick, this is so helpful! I work in an art gallery and have been dreading the day we had to remove several long poems from the walls. Small type takes /forever/ to peel off, I hope this speeds things up! Thank you :)

Thank you so much! This hair dryer trick totally saved me. My ex had put up a hideous vinyl sticker in a very awkward wall space with a lot of little pieces up and didn't bother to remove once they moved out. This was SO MUCH EASIER than try to razor blade it off. THANKS AGAIN.

It’s a good thing I don’t care if it pulls paint off my wall because the whole reason I’m removing them is to repaint 😂

But its hard to cover those spots by simply repainting, you have to do filling, sanding or even both where thin layer of paint is removed.😉

Consider using a stepstool. A chair with wheels on it can be dangerous. My husband did it, and ended up having to have surgery on his wrist because his chair rolled out from under him. At least use a chair with no wheels 😀

Pull the sticker away form the surface and towards you rather then peeling it down shouldn’t leave any glue and if you still have glue use tar and glue remover

@@EtchedwithVinyl your wrong vinyl can be reused as long as you are careful not to rip it while stripping and that there is not paint on the adhesive side

Godwilling I'm wanting to move in with my girlfriend in few years time, but all my wall decals from stickers of video gaming and coca cola it be a bummer taking them off and not able to reuse them
