I tried everything including taking my truck to a glass repair shop and nothing worked or even helped. As my last resort someone recommended this product. It is absolutely the best product that I have seen or used on the market.
This company should pay you for advertising them. I'm about 5 years late watching this vid but I'm gonna go to that website and get a bottle. I hate the blurry windows. Million thanks Jeremy Parker!!
Dude I can’t thank you enough for this video. My windows looked like trash. Now they look brand new. I’m still amazed at how good this stuff works. 👍🏽👍🏽
That's exactly what I have on both my cars. I thought it came from Simple Green Wash and Wax. But they said that it contains only carnauba wax. I have also tried everything out there and nothing works except I used some fine compound on a wheel and I clear a spot the size of a half dollar. This stuff you have looks great. Glad I found you on RU-vid. Thanks.
I don't normally comment, but thanks for the tip. Wifes car had horrible spots and after she took it to a car wash place and they wanted to charge her way to much to remove them, I decided I should give it a go. Watch a couple you tube videos and decided to order the cleaner. Work great!!!! Thanks again
Thank you for sharing this, I had the same issue you had with water spots, i followed what you did in the video but with regular compound like turtle wax and it worked perfectly and the window look better than new.
Ok I went and used the product and worked it kind of how the author applied it. I waited for this morning (the morning after) to view the wind shield covered with morning dew. And I have to tell you that this IS THE only product that actually works!! 0000 steel wool, water, and i wiped it off with micro fiber towels. Afterward i took the truck to the car wash and that was it. I hope this helps you as complete as it did for me.
Thanks for the inspiration, its clean , i’m just using toothpaste and kind of wool for wash dishes here in Indonesia , it works . Thanks again for the inspiration.
Had the same problem and I tried A LOT OF THINGS... different products made specifically to remove hard water stains from windows and nothing worked. I tried the whool pads like you suggested and success... A Million Thanks!!!
Just used this product on a 13 year old Toyota Corolla. I had tried many other methods seen on RU-vid and nothing worked. It did the job perfectly. Now the glass looks new. Amazing product!
Amazing. I have the exact spots on my car. I tried literaly everything and almost nothing worked. I had some effect with various car polish agents and funny enough even worked with a toohpaste a bit but not nearly for all the window area. Thank you for your video and I will post back with my results after obtaining this product.
Thank you so much! We tried everything! It was try this or replace the windshield! This worked! I wish I could post pics!! Thanks again so much! Saved me lots!
Thanks for the video! I had tried to polish mine out with a drill and a pad but no luck. Just so happened to have steel wool lying around and some compound and I think I knocked 80-90% of the spots out or at least knocked them down so much they aren’t noticeable. Great info very very useful!!!
@Kevin Tao Correct. Using compound with 0000 steel wool by hand worked better than a pad and a polisher. I believe I even tried a drill and it still didn’t get the results the steel wool did,
@@jpate89 Typically professionals use Rayon pads on a rotary buffer to polish glass. Your rayon glass polishing pads are usually very thin because you apply moderate pressure using a cerium oxide based polish. If using a rotary it's important to stop often and check temperature and spirits with water if starting to dry or heat up too much. DA buffers work too but they are much slower yet heat buildup is almost a none issue compared to a rotary buffer. If you have too much heat in a localized area the temperature differential can cause the glass to crack.
Wow, the windows on my ocean yachts ss were full of water spots. I got quotes to replace the windows after trying everything to remove them. Turns out, they cost 18k to change the the 3 windows so i passed. Saw your vid a week ago and now u saved me $17,960. I should send you a finders fee or a beer. Thanks again 🍻🍺🍻
What a GREAT story! My car resides under an acorn tree and suddenly after many years the tree spits this fine sap that leaves a haze film. I'm looking forward to using this, I have tried every chemical, scrub, steel wool possible.
So what did the glass company know ? Nothing !! The best way is to figure the solution yourself, and well done that you did. I have done this with white vinegar in the past, and it also worked perfectly.
I'm surprised the glass place who buffed it couldn't get it right. That's exactly how to fix the problem. A good buff with some glass polishing compound. That stuff you purchased is the same stuff really only you're doing it by hand. Nice job anyway.
@@angelgalindo783 it did a little. N to their credit, I'm not savvy to glass repair at all. I'm wondering if I used a car buffer (used an orbital when the elbow grease gave out) if it would perform better for my circumstance.
I had the same situation with my Toyota Tundra 2006 .Could never remove the spot from my glass no matter what i used. Sold the truck to a good friend and i mention your video on how to remove water spot. and today he came me a call all excited that your vital information your share on You Tube work out for him.. I could only wish that you would have share it when i owed the truck. Thank You for A GREAT SHARE OF INFO.
Great product that is prevalent in the Marine market! For large surface areas try any orbital sander with the hook-n-loop pad. Un-roll a steel wool 0000 to cover the pad and get after it. Finish sensitive edges by hand.
Thanks Jeremy, I have to give this a try. I have acid rain water marks on my windshield and nothing I have tried so far has worked (vinegar, vinegar and razor, toilet bowl acid, etc). The etching is at the corner of the window where the wipers don't reach.
Watched this video and decided to try it . Ordered it , used it and !#$$!!! Best money I ever spent ! Really I had stains and something that look like it had burned into the glass . This stuff here whatever it is got my windows looking like brand new . Highly suggest this if you have any doubt dont this Glasweld is it .... and doesnt take much !
Great video Jeremy BTW. When you said that the Window Repair solution started to dry it got me to think???? Sounds like what I use to clean my stovetop...I wonder if this is a close relation to the product "Cerama Bryte" the stove top cleaner???? I just had my car professionally bar clayed and waxed but they missed a spot. After trying a few products nothing removed it. Except my stove cleaner after getting the idea...hope this can help someone else as it worked for me.🙂
might be good to use for touch up of very resistant spots and use something else that you don't have to be super careful with. Just a thought, made note of this chemical. Here in FL it rains so often and without a garage I am always fighting these spots.
My windshield is all spotted up and I was told the same thing...Will definitely try this stuff, although I am afraid of using steel wool...Do the directions recommend steel wool?
Great video. ...Acid works great on any water spots that stay on window's also my truck had the same stains as yours sprayed some acid and just wiped off with towel no effort very easy...spot free now
Bro I left wheel acid inside my truck and I left it sitting for a few and it stained the inside of the glass u know of anything a lil stronger or should I replace the glasss cuz it evaporated and stained the windshield and ruined the tint
Yes that came out amazing one thing you got to remember is the steel wool contains oil that keeps it from rusting and also goes on your window or windshield. And you should have taped it off.
I tried paint cutting compounds with a powerful electric polisher, glass specific polishing creams, steel wool 000 grit, vinegar, sharp blades and more. None of it worked. I watched this video and bought the Glasweld product this week and it 100% works. If you are skeptical of this product or video, don't be! It really does work. I used 000 grit steel wool and Glasweld and the water marks came straight off. PS: i have NO affiliation to this company. Just a happy customer that wants to share this info.
@@danyeraz look at Luke from Wilson Auto Detailings' channel, he has a specific video about this. The Meguiars D140 that I use is purple not red (the red is D143 NON ACID) You need D140 Here's a link and it works great for me. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SXmWHYZWu-I.html
