How to Remove an F30 BMW Glovebox (For cool mods like Apple TVs, Rear Cameras, and More!)

Hey Everyone,
Today, we have a super quick video to help teach you how to remove a glovebox from an F30. Why, you ask? When we do jobs like Rear View Camera installations, Apple TVs, etc, often times, we don't have the room we need to properly mount everything. The good news is, by dropping your glovebox, there's loads of room to mount things like multimedia interfaces and Apple TVs!

Why you didn't put the apple TV just under the radio unit? Is there a problem with heating? I was thinking to put a new amplifier in that location

Hey man! Thanks for sharing this! Do we have to go through the entire process just to get to the little piston that holds the glove compartment box door not to fall down immediately? I need to replace mine and just want to know if I have to unmount the entire thing. Thanks for your reply!

Mine too. It snapped a year ago and now the glove box just pops open. I would love to fix it so it slowly opens like it did before not just plop open.
