Just got your new Nimh Rechargeable batteries and want to use them in your MFLB - check out this video where I show you how to get the glue off the powerex rechargeable 2700 MAH nimh batteries.
I would like to say I love them better than the glihps I find them to be more powerful as well as obviously lasting longer but I would have expected they would be to much more powerful and will do a seperate video on this!!

This works really, REALLY well! I stripped 4 Powerex batteries in a pretty short amount of time utilizing just a pencil eraser. I even experimented with several different non-pencil eraser types, and I found that the pencil eraser is key. It works best, don't even mess around with anything else!

indeed pencil eraser is the key, much quicker compared to softer erasers

A much quicker method I just discovered: dampen tissue w/ GOO GONE (or benzene, nail polish remover, acetone) & wipe outside. Then use a teaspoon sized piece of medium steel wool. This rubs it off easily, but TWISTING the battery w/ one hand while tightly wrapping/squeezing the steel wool around the battery works super.

You say they last longer than the batteries the mflb comes with? How much longer would you say? And on their website it says to buy the powerex battery charger as well but that's 40-60$ and if the mflb charging port does the same trick I'd rather just use that. Please let me know

Aftering spending many many months with them, I have to say they do last longer but they are not as powerful as the ones they come with. These are cheep and cheerful and they work great. but in all honestly and after spending a year with them... the real connoseuir will have 1 battery per session and with that said it doesnt really matter!

Even better way to remove is to spray with WD40 wait 5 secs. and rub with cloth. All gone in less then 30 seconds.
