Hey man, thank you a lot for your video. I have changed the brass spindle, lubricated the transmission, changed the infuser's o-rings ...but my machine only worked for 3 days. Now it's back to the same problem: when I turn it on, it skips the heating and washing cycle, and if I try to make a coffee all the water and coffee powder go into the ground container. Soooo strange! It has worked perfectly after the repair but now we're back to square one - so frustrating! It's only 3 years old :( Cheers!

hi Milen, thank you for the movie....after service like that, do i have do some position calibration? My infuser sometimes stop to low, and from that reason i am not able to remove the tray with coffee grounds. I did factory reset by holding 3 buttons and plugged in the cable to the socket, but it didn't help.

No, with regular maintenance of my own machine I got over 8 years before mine died, and at least 6 years on a prior ESAM model. You have to keep things moving freely and not tight, liberal with food grade silcone every month or so, etc. Otherwise these things wear much faster as the friction rises. It shouldn't sound like it's struggling to move the infuser like its bogged down. Needless to say after 8 years on my last transmission the screw is just as in bad shape as the brass bushing, luckily these parts are still made in production runs so if you need one they're relatively easy to source and the lead time ain't too long usually. Its my 2nd transmission replacement but 1st for this specific machine of mine. Got roughly 28,000 cycles this one.
Everything's normal but when you try to lower the infuser it slips, same with rising. Test mode can be activating by pressing 1 cup + steam and then flick the switch at the back on
