OMG thank you. I’ve been trying for months to take my studs out because I thought they were twist offs. Never thought to just pull the stud and barbell apart.
After 40 minutes of twisting, screaming and bitching, I decided to search RU-vid for better methods of removing my piercing and thankfully, I came across your video. I can't believe I wasted all this time twisting the earring when all I needed to do was pop it out 🙄 Now my ear is swollen but at least I can sleep in peace knowing it's finally out.
omg thank you so much. I didn't ask what jewelry i was getting and i couldn't pull it out so i thought it was nose bone and panicked. I found the trick was to hold steady the head part and pull the tail out. If you pull from both sides it won't come out as easy. I watched your vid and I got mine out in like 10 seconds and put the ring on in 10 seconds also. I had it pierced in March and it healed perfectly since it didn't swell or bleed or hurt in any way. The feeling you feel when putting in a ring really is cool
BROOOOOO I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO TAKE MINE OUT FOR LITERALLY 6 HOURS AND YOU JUST HELPED ME WITH ONE SENTENCE I HAVE WATCHED 9 DIFFERENT YT VIDEOS TOO BUT YOURS IS THE ONE THAT HELPED
Same.. tried to get my 16yr old daughters out for her due to volleyball n cant!!! But I'm gonna try again after watching this now. 🤞🏼 we live about 45min from where we got hers done at so not like we can just pop by. Especially with 2 busy schedules that we both have smh
Thanks for this video, I thought mine were internally threaded but I guess they were threadless all along! I’m glad I found this video before I panicked like lots of other people
Thank-you for this video!!!! I had to PULL but I got my piercings out!! These were for a second lobe piercing. My helix piercing fell out. 😂 The post got too long when the swelling reduced and it fell out before I got to my piercer for a shorter post. I didn’t think my lobe piercings would be a problem. I had them done 7 months ago so they are healed. Thank-you!!!! 2:54
ive been trying to take out my nose stud and no matter how hard i pull it wont come out. i even had someone else try and do it since it started hurting so i probably wasnt pulling as hard and it wont budge, it just starts bleeding. any tips?
Hello thank you for the video. What size nose taper do professional piercers usually use? I’m looking for nose tapers during COVID and not sure what size. Thanks-
I literally can’t get mine out I don’t know if it twist off or does this because mine has a flat end like that but it felt like the person who did mine was twisting it on .
Question! where are we able to find disposable hemostats?! I am a piercer out of Vernon ,CT at Rock City Tattoo Co, and i can never find any anywhere. Its almost like they dont exist. I would love to know where you got them from, as im trying to go fully disposable within my studio. Thank you!!!!
Got a forward helix that keeps getting irritation bumps and trouble healing. Really want to switch to a titanium curved barbell because I know I’ll heal nice and easy but Ive made it soooo angry trying everything!! Twist, pull etc.
ok i may be a little late. but i have my nostril pierced and the L- nose studs always fall out when i sleep and so i had to get it re-pierced and now i sleep with a plaster on it every night. I have a ring in at the moment though. i bought a internally threaded stud but need a taper to put it in as i’m very un-skilled. i cant find any tapers/insertion pins that fit in the UK. and my piercers don’t either. Do you have any help before i waste more money on tapers that don’t fit
After fiddling with it for a while it finally came out. I just trying to pull on it. I was afraid it would hurt and luckily it did not. I had the jewelry in a nostril piercing.
Would pliers work cuz idk what u called those black thingies also idk where to get jewelry that works with it and my piercer is charging too much for the super cute jewerly
I have to get a MRI and my nose stud needs to come out. I have tried holding the back and pulling the front. I thought the flat back screwed off. Nothing works. Does anyone have any idea's?
please help !!! i was able to get the ball off my hoop earring on my helix, but i just cannot get the hoop out!:( the hoop seems to be too small:/. it was pierced with titanium.
How to remove threaded flat backs have 3 in my conch and got the towel for it and still can't remove it I don't have the money to go get them removee by tattoo artist to expensive how do I remove it
My mom just got me these cute helix piercing and they don't twist off or pull apart! I need to change my helix piercings bc the ones i have in now caused a keloid and they constantly rub against it(they are the kind that curve in your ear if that makes since) I've tried everything to get theses new piercings to come apart but they just wont😭 and the sad part is she got them from an actual body jewelry website!! The ones i got from Amazon actually come apart for goodness sakes and if it wasn't for my keloids i would keep them in..
Quick question, I got my cartilage pierced almost a year ago, they are titanium flat ends. Both sides are flat and I’ve been trying to take it out for a while and they will not budge! I tried pulling and I’ve tried twisting and still nothing help please
Okay so i dont have this tool to keep hold of the labret back so this is what i do when its stuck.. Take two pieces of thread, make a loop, loop it around the front and back of the piercing and pull, it comes out easily. Use this to remove my nosepin all the time
This saved me after pulling on my nose forever. I used tweezers to hold the back on the inside and thread on the other. Came apart super easy. Thank you!!
I’m planning on getting my helix piercing within the next 2-3 weeks. Does anyone know if you can change a flat back jewelry and put in a hoop? Or does it not really matter? Thank you! 😇😇
Hi, do you have any advice for me on how to clean them? I'm still in the healing process and due to the pandemic I cant go back to parlor to get more antiseptic spray. I'm m barely going on 3 months of healing. Tyia
Simply boil them in water! 2 or 3 minutes in, then take them out, dry them and store them somewhere clean and dry. You can also use a saline solution to clean them, soak them in the solution and wipe them down. Hope this helps.
Thank you. I’ve had my nose stud for a year and didn’t want to pay to have it changed out. I got it out by myself and changed it to something more “user friendly”. Lol.
Same. But I didn’t want to change the labret , i am sensitive , wanted to leave it in for another 6 months . But I don’t like the ugly plain titanium balls, so wanted to swap the ends only . Managed to swap one . Other one new piece has arrived , don’t think I want to do this again, I was sore last time . If they come off easier I would use them , it’s a great idea , but they’re so stiff . And it’s hard to get your fingers in the nose area , especially when there’s two piercings side by side
Hey ya'll. Usually don't comment but think this info might be useful: My nose piercing is fully healed and has a flat tip end like shown in the video. HOWEVER. If you're still struggling to pull the two parts apart it's probably because the top stud part of the piercing actually begrudgingly unscrews. Found this out after my whole ass piercing was pulled out through the hole, flat tip and all. Was very bloody. Make sure it unscrews even if it's a flat tip and try unscrewing it again before yanking on it.
Yes! Good point! The jewelry can also be threaded! If so, twist to the left. Hemostats will help if you can't get a good grip on the jewelry. I don't use threaded on nostrils, but I have removed some threaded jewelry from nostrils before at our studio. Thank you for your comment!
And, I'm going to leave this to the professional who did the piercing. She'll have it out in no time, at no cost to me. I'm not making myself nuts anymore.
I don’t have any of these tools - can annnnyyyyone give tips on how to reinsert a thread less nose ring with just my fingers? Help please I don’t want it to close!!
Oh my goodness. I’ve been struggling, so painful the stud was too small. And you’ve helped me discover that my piercing is thread-less. When I pulled it out. I literally threw it away in the trash. Good riddance.
I took mine out and it was kinda rough when I did it, and it started to bleed a bit is that normal or should I be worried 😦 ps it’s been 12 weeks since I got my piercing
I will never get this kind of piercing again. I have them on my ear lobe and it will not pull apart. I’m having to use too much force. I got one off and the other is stuck. It’s pretty much permanent jewelry.
