I use the internally threaded jewellery, but the tops screwing system can be a bloody nightmare. The number of times I've lost a top....lost count lol.

I bought the opal cluster push back on your site last month. I just went to put my headphone in to watch this and I bumped it. I pushed on the piercing to make sure it was on tight and it bent like crazy and now it isn’t staying together. I wanted this since I saw it forever ago and it didn’t even last me a month 😭

Get one of those long scissors looking clamps where they sell jewelry and go inside your nose and clamp the bottom of your post while turning the screw on top off. Even a clean very small needle nosed pliers would work to hold the post still while you screw off the top.

Hey fellas! Any guidelines to ordering the proper post length in the push back studs? I have several helix piercings that I'd like to order jewelry for, but can't seem to decide how long I need it.

First time getting a piercing the piercer gave me a push-in piece of jewelry. I just about had a heart attack when I snagged it on my towel less than a week later. I thought threaded was all there was so I thought I broke the threads when the ball fell out

I got a tragus piercing back in January 2020 and I’ve been having a lot of problems with it. It’s not painful but I get bumps every other month. I use an asprin/saltwater paste I leave on it overnight but it always seems to come back. Unfortunately I didn’t ask enough questions while getting it pierced and I have no idea how to take it out. It has a flat back but the bar is incredibly small and pushing into the back of my ear and I’m unable to get ahold of it just in case it were to be a screw on. No piercing places are open at the moment in Lincoln, Nebraska.
@nuviaindc8065
@nuviaindc8065 3 года назад
Do a a tea tree oil, colloidal silver and salt paste instead. I did that fir less than a week and it dried the bump out and it never came back. Unless you already took care of it.

This isn't really related to the video, but I'm getting both of my nostrils pierced soon and I'm wondering if I'd be able to get them pierced at 16g? Like is that a thing? Because I really want them that size but I don't want to ask if it can't be.

this doesn’t have to do with this video however, why do you guys pierce with metal needles but i’ve seen other places use plastic ones. what’s the difference?
@tncaspotter8168
@tncaspotter8168 4 года назад
The plastic needles you see are cannula needles, it's just a metal needle with a plastic cover on it, you can take out the metal needle and leave in the plastic cover or tube in the piercing which will make switching to the jewelry alot easier (kinda like a taper)

Are you supposed to change your piercing(belly) when it’s like crusty around it? Because my belly has crusty around it, & I’m supposed to change it during my first month, but i don’t know wether it’s going to get infected. Or my belly is going to infected. Anyone knows?
@amkevantoor9228
@amkevantoor9228 4 года назад
New piercings should always be cleaned twice a day with a saline solution. This cleaning process is to remove the crust. Once your piercing is healed you can change jewelry. But since there is crust on your belly-button piercing I would continue cleaning it and wait till there is no more crust forming and it is fully healed before changing jewelry. Also, the internet says that a belly-button piercing takes 3-6 months to heal. So I would wait at least two more months if I were you. I hope that this helps you make a decision and enjoy your new piercing :)
@cheyennehughes7537
@cheyennehughes7537 4 года назад
What Amke said is correct. You should never change a fresh belly piercing's jewellery sooner than 3 months. Even at the 3 month mark, I would use extreme caution changing. Crusties on a fresh piercing are a sign of healing as long as they are clear/yellowishcin color. If at any point the piercing starts oozing pus, becomes excessively red and sore, or has a foul odor, it is likely infected. Sea salt soaks are also a great way to promote oxygen circulation to the piercing, thus helping it heal.

You're not too old. The problem is being too young to get one. I got mine at the age of 22, and I'm 63 now, and still have it. Go get your piercing (when the shops open back up), and enjoy it. (Jan Griffiths).
