My Porsche cayenne base model V6 2010 having problems. Message is coming on display says your engine temperature is too high and engine oil meter gauge will go all the way up. But coolant gauge is ok. Please tell me what could be wrong. When I drive local in the street more problems but if I'm driving on highway on 100kms speed less problems

is there anything wrong with spraying a little lube down the screws that hold the intake plenum tubing on? im so afraid of working on these things

You have all these super great videos but you don't show changing the radiator on the Porsche Cayenne 2005 4.5 V 8 double overhead cam. Although you show the fan removal which was very helpful for me now I find out it's not my cooling pipes that are leaking it's the radiator Yanks

Both cooling fans failed on my 996 at 77,000 miles. Porsche purist: You're going to replacement them with OE German ones right? Me: The OE German ones both lasted less than 100,000 miles. These were designed and made by the same people that though it was a good idea to install the equivalent of a sealed wheel bearing inside a hot engine that is constantly bathed in hot engine oil. I'll take a chance with cheaper China made aftermarket. They'll probably last longer. Porsche purist: Don't think they will last even half as long as the German ones. Me: Think not? I have a 325CI BMW that I replaced the OE radiator fan with a China made aftermarket 6.5 years and 94,000 miles ago and it still kicks on every time. Not everything made in China is crap. And I don't think any Chinese engineer worth his\her degree would ever consider putting a self sealed wheel bearing inside a hot engine that is constantly bathed in hot engine oil. Porsche purist: No response.
