THANK YOU!!!!!! I have a brand new Lenovo Yoga laptop and my space bar key came partially off.... I took it to Best Buy and they wanted to send it out for repairs costing me a $100 deductible or I could send it back under warranty to Lenovo. I watched your video 3 times and finally felt like it was worth a try! The little hinge set had come apart on one side and because of your detail I was able to reassemble it and get it back in place!!!! The bars went back a little differently which I found on another repair video specific to lenovo's but it didn't have the detail you had. Yours was the main reason I successfully repaired my laptop without having to send it back! SO VERY THANKFUL for your attention to the detail and zoomed in images! BRAVO!

My spacebar was very different than this, but this video pointed me in the right direction. Wasn't getting te metal stabilizer in the hooks they were meant to be in

Thanks, I can usually figure this stuff out on my own, needed to take a look at this to realize I was putting the space-bar on left-to-right instead of right-to-left so my inner-side space-bar pins weren't lining up lol. Just needed to take the space-bar off to do some cleaning since it was getting jammy, smooth as silk now haha.

Thx ma dude. I have a Lenovo and if you had the same problem as me it was getting those damn pins in, Lenovo ones are curved in a hook and you have to get both hooks in at one side then push the button down and slide it in.

my key does not have the second metal rod "parallel" to the other. It only has one. in addition to the semi-closed rectangular one

The problem i have with my spacebar is that it became suddendly totally flat. I mean it is still working but it is flat and not in the height of the other buttons and its kind of annoying. I opened it like you did in the video to clean it and it did not helped. My spacebar also has a cup in the middle which is not stunk with glue (or the glue is removed) but this is not the problem. I just ask if i should also use glue to stunk it back when i will open it again. But why the spacebar is flat!! When i opened it the hinges where flat also. I think the hinges have problem can i do something for this?

my keys always feel like there's something keeping me from pressing them down all the way, already lost the A keycap and about to take off the spacebar
