Thanks for your video! I tried several sizes of screws to help me out of the TIP and I found that the 3.5mm width screws fit just right.

Before I watch this video, I've opened my Pod Go, and its not possible to take the tip out from inside, the jack is sealed!

The screw idea worked great and fortunately pulled out the whole thing in one piece. The only other problem I had was the little protruding thing that makes the jack click into place. It was preventing me pulling the tip out with the screw. I fixed that by pushing it to the side with a thin nail while pulling on the screw and it came right out. Thank you.😃

Awesome! The screw worked to get the plastic ring out, but the Q-tip wasn't strong enough to pull the tip out. However, I tapered down the end of a chopstick with a little sandpaper, and that worked! Thanks!

I broke off the tip on the other side of the cable so I could compare the hole size. Then I had a set of diamond coated grinders (made for dremel/high speed tool). Found a size that fit but had to be twisted a bit. Grabbed on and then put a little torque/lean on it while pulling it out. Also had omto do as others said to push the retaining contact/clip out of the way. Also used a little gravity to help (so from an inverted position. Darn things. Don't let people trip over your cables 😅

I had a very bad experience with My DENON Amplifier when i broke Sennheiser headset jack and IT WAS STUCK inside!! Very deeply... In the beggining,i used glue!!! Wrong! Very thin pliers.. Nothing! I was desperate that i had to move the whole Amplifier to an expert😰😱 Suddenly i had an idea: Drill bit!! The idea with screw is a good one but i suggest DO NOT USE Screwdriver cause you don't have the feeling needed for such sensitive operation.. A) I saw inside Denon jack with a magnifier lense and light to see what has been left.. B) I used a drill bit No 2(i think 3 maybe better) which i started to screw with ONLY my fingures force.. When i felt it had stopped,i pulled back the drill not exactly in straight line! And the miracle came: IT CAME OUT!!! I replaced the broken jack with a new one: Perfect!!! Finally, RU-vid is a big helper😉 Have a nice time, 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷

HOW does that happen ? I took two pairs of channel locks and I tried and tried to break the tip off ( with out bending ) and it's impossible !!!! If I can't purposely break one after 10 minutes of trying.. and then another 10 minutes of trying with a lot of pressure but not enough to ban to ruin it I couldn't take that tip off to save my life..... For an hour I tried with two pairs of channel locks.... So how the hell is one of those supposed to break in the back of a guitar effects or in a guitar amp ...... I have played professionally 7 nights a week for 30 years in clubs all over Los Angeles Phoenix Arizona Nashville Tennessee Chicago the Aleutian Islands the Bering Sea.. and I don't understand how any of those can ever break inside of a unit if I can't break it on purpose and I rebuilt my first engine when I was 15 years old I know what I'm doing.... they don't !!!!!
