Another string to the bow … wash, wax and blow dry 😉 Best thing for removing glue is initially try panel wipe and if thats not working go a bit more aggressive and use 2K thinner. Neither of these is any more riskier than using a heat gun. Use the wipe / thinner on a cloth. As long as paintwork is not in prolonged contact with either liquid it will not get damaged.
WD 40 works great on removing the sticky residue. Have done that a few times removing mine, I followed with rubbing alcohol, so all good to stick the new ones on 😇
I like these hints and tips videos, very helpful. When I removed my car badges, I remove the glue with 'De-Solv-it Sticky Stuff Remover'. I bought mine from Halfords 2 years ago and it does the job for me. Just wipe on, leave for about 3 minutes and wipe off and rinse. Repeat if required. 👍
Dave, the P40 go, is it a good machine? For car wash, mainly once a week? The other models just Overkill? Or would you stretch to another model? Cheers
I spent a nice few quid on all different car glass cleaning agent's. Obviously once they sick car on a product the price increases by more than double something even quadruple. Man I thought when you suggested how to do it correctly and it cost nothing I couldn't believe the results. Not a streak 6 weeks later my glass is still better than if I had used the most expensive product on the market. I said it before, Dave, but you are #THEMAINMAN
