What's the stuff under the carpet? I'm about to rip mine up with the plan of adding stick on vinyl. Suggestions on what exactly to stick the flooring to are much appreciated!

Loved this! I have a question PLEASE!!! I have an 2001 Ram Wagon conversion. Has that same mount. You skipped over the "quick release " Can you tell me how to do that?? I have just been trying to get into the nut under/over the mount! signed, sincerely frustrated! Thanks SO much!
I had to lay on the ground under the van and have a friend of mine hold a wrench to take out the seat from unbolting it. You can look under the seat and take off 4 bolts and take it out that way. But it still leaves the base of the seat that holds it to the floor. The only way I could get my seats out was unbolting them from underneath. The quick release would not work on my van at all.
