How to Remove Copyright Strikes on YouTube Videos (2024 Update) 

You can edit out the song in RU-vid studio editor - this will remove the copyright strike/claim immediately and restore monetization on that video (if you’re monetized)

You’re in a dodgy situation because you have 0 content on your channel about the artwork in question, so it looks like you’re the guilty one. You have 1 option: File a copyright claim. 10 days after the claim, you’ll have 10 days to provide legal documents to RU-vid proving you are taking them to court. If neither party provides documents, case is closed and no further action will be taken by RU-vid.

A "copyright claim +1" is not a "copyright strike" - it does not affect your account status. It means the copyright owner (of the content you used) are either ads running on your video, with the revenue going to the copyright owner, or the copyright owner is receiving stats about your video’s views. It means you don’t get the strike, but the owner gets the revenue for any income it might generate.

@@JarmainPatrick I see where that is asking about copyright strikes but that's not the issue here. I do have a couple of videos with copyright strikes but I uploaded them as demonitized to begin with so that they weren't an issue.

I need more details to give you an answer brother: A - did you use the content under fair use terms (i.e add commentary, criticism, significant value)? OR B - did you just rip the video and re-upload it? The way you used the content makes a massive difference...

@@JarmainPatrick i got a copy right strike because i uploaded a short about a game leak idea. i added a title to show what the video is about there is no critcism or anything. the leak was not owned by anyone since there is no video where you can take this leak from it what do i do
