How to Remove & Disable the Ford MyKey.

Exactly!All the screens and programming are totally different depending on year and make.I went from 80mph to 130mph on my key but it still restricted to 80mph..I am still working on removing the restrictions.

Y’all need 2 keys. The one without the setting on it should be used. You can go into settings and then disable it. You can take it to a dealer if you only have one or you can also use a computer and disable it with an app but you’d also need a scanner. Much more complicated.

Not all of Ford vehicles do the same but I also have a Ford escape you have to have two keys if what he is saying is correct you should be able to have a key cut and program to your car and that should make it the master key to where you can go in and erase the my keys. But I talk to the customer service at a Ford dealership and they said you need to have a new key programmed to your car and then they have to go inside and delete the Mikey I don’t believe that to be correct but have you another key program for it and that is what I am doing this week and I bet it will work as a admin key

Pressing the lock 3 times auto starts, only lock it twice to avoid that
