Clearing Ford Mykey with only one key and remote start! 

Man that was so cool and easy I was just struggling with this already planning to go to the dealer ship or a locksmith because I only have one key but like you said you save us some time and MONEY Thanks once again!!!

Just a quick note of thanks for taking the time. I have a 2011 Ford Escape, which takes the same type key + FOB. Your instructions on process from start to finish were clear and easy to understand. As such, I was able to remove the highly-annoying speed limit and clear ALL mykey from memory. If someone else is experiencing this frustration, I will refer them to your video. THANK YOU - Fred

Who would have thought that the system would register the remote starter as a key with its own unique keycode? That's awesome because that means its impossible to register as a MyKey, and thus it is always considered an admin key by the system. Brilliant! Saved my bacon AND a trip to the stealership, thanks man!

Thank you for posting this helpful video. It worked for me with my 2011 F-150 XLT 4X4. Worked just as you described. It took me a few times because I am using an aftermarket remote starter/alarm fob, but it worked. Thank you. MyKey is reset now.

It worked with my focus. Luckily I got 2 keys and I figured it out that the key that was used to create the my key is actually the one you couldn't reset the MY KEY settings coz it wont appear in the settings menu if You use that same key to set it up. I used the other key and the My Key in the settings menu appeared. I was so annoyed and almost traded my car. Thanks for the video.

Thanks it worked after trying everything in the owners manual. I have a 2011 mustang with remote start and two sets of keys and neither were recognized as admin keys. Followed you directions and was able to reset and clear the mykey. Great video.

Omg! This has been driving me crazy! I bought a Navigator a few weeks ago with an aftermarket remote start. Initially, I thought the problems I was having (volume maxed at 40?! and kill switch not deactivating unless I unlocked with fob with key in ignition) was a wiring issue, until I read the manual, but soon realized I don't have the 'ADMIN' key to reprogram the MyKey settings. Oh my god, thank you so much for this video! I’ve been wanting to drive my Ford Escape off a cliff for the past few months because somehow, out of the blue, all the MyKey restrictions became active. Suddenly my truck became my anxious mother, “don’t listen to your music so loud” and “there’s no reason to drive that fast, young lady!” The owners manual was absolutely no help. I did exactly what you said - I used the remote start, followed the instructions, and voila, all MyKeys are cleared! You’re a live saver!

is there a way to do this without a remote start? My other admin key is in another state. I created MyKey driving and was so upset when I realized what happened. My Escape doesn't have a remote start or a push button start.

Gonna try this after I get off work. I don't have a separate remote start (built into my fob). MyKey has been a pain in my ass since I bought the car last year (I've got 3 keys, and still there's no option to clear them even though I set them up).
