this channel is fantastic. i think my door check is FUBAR though... like, not just the check, but the steel on the door itself that it's connected to... so... I might have to consider something more than a 1:1 replacement.

What brand of lubricant is used/recommended for the door check? I just used this video to fix my 2016 Double Cab TRD Off Road Tacoma but can only had WD-40 for the initial install, but want to go back and better lubricate the door since I can already feel the door open and close a lot less smoothly than before.

What size bolt goes into the frame to hold the latch? about the 07:50 mark
