brent moerenhout the hole with the hot fork, melts the inner and outer pieces together in one spot. If you just spin it without doing that, the middle piece doesn't move.
brent moerenhout because there’s two kinds.. there’s one that you can spin off with no problem, then there’s these that have two layers and the inside part doesn’t rotate with the outer part, so you need to weld them together so they spin together and you can get it off. Otherwise you’re just basically chasing the ball around that one cat toy where it just goes in circles hoping it’ll start spinning the toy base itself.. it won’t happen unless you weld the ball to the base.
