This may potentially cause reading errors at toll booths. Even if your fastag is deactivated machine can still read it and it may get confused with which fastag to read first. After ordering ICICI FASTag online it comes pre-activated however within a week you have to upload your RC on there portal to avoid deactivation of the same.
