Awesome instructional videos. I've already replaced the blower motor, changed spark plugs, air filter due to your clips. Now, I am on to replacing the passenger's side, front door panel. I checked your site, and the door panel for a 2007 Trailblazer LT was not listed. So I am relegated to finding one parted off a beater from a yard somewhere. I would like to ask what span of model years does the door panel cover? Specifically, does a door panel from a 2007 fit a 2005 or 2006? Much appreciated guys for all your excellent work.
Normally the clips just slid into the door panel and then push in the door panel frame. You need to clip them into the panel before pushing it into the frame.
You know when u take the door off on the top there is a rubber reinforced with metal and if you look inside the door it has a lip along the whole top of door. Are you suppose to mount that inside the rubber ?
I been wanting to replace the whole door panel on both front doors. The previous owner took them off to tint the windows with cheap Walmart tint and he broke the clips on the panel by the mirror and also the clips on the plastic piece around the handle and lock. I already replaced the suspension and sway bar links.
hey man, i have a 2003 gmc envoy which is almost the same has this trail blazer, i was wondering what are those plastic things called.? the ones that the 10 MM bolts go through so that the door panel sticks to the door? i broke mine off and dont know how to get new ones
Do u have a video of how to replace that handle on the inside of the car mine Crack from the side and I was wonder if u could just replace that part or if I need to replace the whole panel
Anybody else's door handle bezel won't stay in? I think it's something to do with the door panel preventing it to snap it. It snaps in fine with the panel connected.
If, on the little triangle part of the door panel, I've managed to break the part that secures it to the door frame, can that be part replaced separately, or do I need to replace the entire door panel?
Great question, I let my cousin do a mirror replacement and also broke that small tab behind that top triangular trim and now it seems that due to that the rest of the clips are also coming out.
i have a question, my speakers in my 2005 trailblazer don't seem to work only my front passenger speaker does, every now and then the driver speaker will work but only the door is closed as soon as open the door the speaker goes off. the back don't seem to work at all, i did replace the factory radio with an aftermarket radio and i checked all the connections and all connections are correct but now they don't seem to work. any suggestions would be helpful, thanks
You may want to check the wire harness that runs between the door and the body of the car for a frayed wire. You may have a wire making intermittent contact which could be causing this issue. Hope this helps you out. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
