How to remove hard water spots from your car with eraser gel

Remove water spots form your car by hand with eraser gel. Start by adding your eraser gel to a clean Terry cloth sponge or microfiber towel. Rub the gel into the surface if your car in sections.
Try not to be too aggressive with the product. After wiping the surface of your car wipe the Gell off, we like to use 3D products waterless car wash. You’ll want to make are you rinse the eraser gel off the car directly after your work is done.

Purchased on amazon, thought it wasn't going to work. After many (possible 5 applications) I saw positive results. I guess the older the water spots the harder it is to remove. My water spots were sitting on window for over two years.nawaome product.

I got carried away using the pressure spray to get mud off my truck regularly and didn't take the time to wipe it down. Next thing you know I had horrible hard water spots on the glass that I wasn't noticing because it's tinted. This is the product to get it off. Follow the instructions and make sure your glass is clean. It takes multiple applications, but it does the trick. Good stuff. Just keep at it if you have a tough job. This stuff will do it.

I have used the gel, love it, great product, but as you said don't leave on glass longer then 45 sec without neutralizing product,👍👍👍

Could you say if I apply this to a vehicle with waterspots, I can use a rinseless solution to neutralize the acids in the gel and move on to the drying step after

I ordered and used that eraser with the car wash stuff it's not what it's all cracked up to be it doesn't work for the windows of my truck and so-and-so some of the water spots are still independent so I have to step up to another option because it's not working the way I would like for to work

Does water neutralize this stuff? Can you just take a rag and a bucket of water to it? Just wipe water soaked rag all is good on glass?

i had the exact same issue, on my front windshield. I ended up polishing the windshield with rubbing compound and a DA polisher and it helped but not perfect. Did you get a better answer from them?

@@seansean8008 No did not, since then I have changed my vehicle... after awhile it did become better. Just let the rain and dirt "fill the holes". But note to myself, don't leave that thing on glass for too long...

@@zacusgan5379 ..... and read instructions ! I made a similar mistake with a hybrid/ceramic wash that streaked that onto some black trim and it eventually came-off after about 20 washes. It taught me to stay-away from long-lasting treatments and stuck with things I can remove if I want to especially as it causes the retailers too much time and effort to do paint corrections

Could I use an APC to neutralize the gel?

You should be able to. Waterspot remover is acidic and almost all APC are alkaline so it should neutralize the water spot remover no problem. One thing to consider is the added lubrication waterless wash provides to help minimize scratches when wiping with the cloth.

Take their warning about leaving it on glass for less than a minute seriously. I almost etched my glass (my stupid fault)... Works fantastic though.

To be honest iv tried the eraser. Buffing it out is much quicker if its all over the car.but in saying that not everyone has a buffer to buff it out...my detailing shop uses 3D products its pretty good.but a bit pricy compare to other brands

This works for mild water spots but it won't touch heavy water spots or spots that have been there a long time

How about with ceramic coat ? Does it make any damage ?

The ceramic coat should normally make water spots quite easy to remove without a dedicated acidic remover. However if that's not the case it will more than likely degrade the ceramic coating yes. After the spots are removed I would follow up with a ceramic spray or ceramic detailer to help minimize protection loss.

@@uduman007 my advice would be buffing with the best scratch compounds such meguairs diamond cut compount or normal will be a wise choice ....some of the water spots products ruined the paint....

2 Pekes yes it actually worked quite well believe it or not! I was surprised! It removed the water spots pretty quickly and I got my wife’s paint beck to looking amazing again.

I have tried many different product on my glass window for my vehicle( spray compound, oooo steel wool), so far nothing seems to work. Acid rain from sprinklers have been on the window for 2 years. Will the product remove the spots from the glass?
