Thanks Alf, as you say simple when you know how. I am going to change my chrome console for a gloss black one; I have never liked the plastic strap anyway so a metal strap with the holes in my opinion will look better.
Impeccable timing Alf,,I've been meaning to Learn how to wipe the Speedo glass from dried humidity ,,it had a bit of stain from the dealership before I picked the bike up.. Curious how hard it would be to do that..?

Yep so if your bike is out of warranty then some have tried drilling two small holes in rear casing which cures it thus allowing air to equalise. It’s supposed to work but I haven’t tried it myself so can’t be sure. Cheers
It will do if you don’t take the main fuse out first. Also if you don’t make sure the connector is seated properly when putting it back together, that can do weird stuff too. Cheers

Hi Andy and thanks so much. Try looking at accessories for heritage or other Softails or their are a few aftermarket now too. But to redux it then it is merely glued on so a strong glue may just be enough. Cheers
