How to Remove Jam on My Shredder Machine 

Thank you for helping me clear the jam in the top of my shredder. I've been fixing it for years when it jammed underneath, but it had never jammed on top before. I tried tweezers, a tooth pick, a wooden skewer, but nothing would fit into the narrow opening. Then you showed a knife blade. Being very careful I was able to clear out all the stuck paper. Thanks again : D

I have to reach inside the shredder to grasp bits jammed so it was awkward with a pair pliers so, being a kleptomaniac nurse, I used a kelly forcep , and VOILA. Then the air turned blue as I picked all the bits of shredded paper off the carpet... I bag the shredded paper because I was told that shredded paper can stuff up cogs in the rubish truck. THANK you.

I worry about sharp objects dulling the blades so I use a rubber-tipped dental appliance to remove paper jams.

Just pure oil in it. It is faster and quicker. Little bit at a time
