weed razor works great. You people need to come up with a 30 foot option for a rake. Cutting them is one thing. I just did 2 football fields in a lake. now trying to get the out of the lake is impossible without some huge rake that prevents them from floating around a small rake and back where they came from.

In addition to this, you need to regularly remove bottom sediments. This can be done with a motor pump for dirty water with a suction nozzle Bagermaster

This sucker is an AWESOME tool! Yes, it works very well. However, it is not very effective on cat tails. It will cut them but you'll have to yank pretty hard to get it thru.

looks like a great tool but $170 is a bit steep for a big razer blade attached to a rope... might be able to make one of these myself.

Lilly pads only grow in 3.5 to 4 feet of water why throw the tools.

Hello Roy. Thanks for responding to the video. Lily pads can actually grow in deeper water if already established. Not to mention that some people just simply don't want to get in the water at all. You do not have to use the rope if you don't want to though. Thanks much.

What kind of bully would cut down water lilies especially at $50 per plant when you buy them at the store. The previous demo of the cattails did not do much. I m very sure it takes 10 to 15 throughs to cut down a 4 foot area. Cattails are very hard at the bottom and below the water.

@Padawan - agree with you. I have a large pond overgrown with cattails and well rooted after 15 ears!. I can see this tool getting stuck in the cattails. It would take a tractor to pull the weed razor throughout the thick growth, that is, if it could withstand the pressure. It might work for light vegetation.

Good product. Lousy presenter. Enough with the "Hey folks ... " The video is best played with the sound off in my opinion. You don't need the vocals. The video says it all.
