Hey there. Possibly. It depends upon what you are trying to do. If you need to remove the light panel from the car for replacement or repair etc then obviously no. But if you are removing the headlining panel for example and don't 'need' to remove this light panel then yes in theory, why not :-)

Hey there! Yes, my first guess would be a faulty main switch. If you pop it out and have a look you may well be able to short the connector pins to mimic the switch action. If you rock the switch around can you sometimes get it to switch on (or flash on)? Yes, you can remove the control panel no problem. Best option would be to buy a used one on eBay as pretty cheap there, and just swap it over. Excellent - glad you found the content useful! You may need something stronger than a spray adhesive and can be tricky to make a tidy job especially with a hard-setting glue or a glue with any thickness to it. But definitely worth a try at fixing as it does tend to spread (expand) over time.
