Just rotate the drive shaft to get those bolts down and easier to get at on the flange of the differential. Harbor freight sells a transmission jack that makes raising and lowering the differential manageable.
Yea I just removed a lsd off of a Supra I found at the junkyard gas tank wasn’t necessary to move. Just have a swivel and a long extension the remove the top bolts holding the diff in
My apologies couldnt reply sooner my guy was tied up duing the wire in on my jz swap ouch 9 hrs i have never worked on a bmw now i am scared to lolbut yea took me about 130 buy the the time i got the tools out and picked them up and barely beat the rain😂
I problably did 😂 i wasnt teached by my self and know their was problably a easier better way i am open minded please let me know how to due it better and faster so i can correct the problem on another video
dont have to remove fuel tank to remove diff. those would be 14, 19 mm sockets and wrenches not inches. scary people working on car on internet,and lots of bad advice!
