Not sure if you've tried it but I've had similar situations happen as well and depending on fabric, try peroxide or vinegar. With the vinegar only, dilute 3/1 (3parts vin, 1part water). Try peroxide first as it seems to be the best to me on material that mimmicks the burlap texture. Let it sit for about 10 mins and dab clean with only a water damp cloth. Dry with hair dryer on lo heat. Pray it works for you! With me being the same as you and having 9 Football boys ( I know what ur thinking and ur almost right. I did have 10 hairs left on my head, now down to 7! Lol), those nasty white pants needed overhauling and they are cheap and surely cant be passed down once they play High School Football. I had to find a remedy for the mud, grass and funky smelling gear and that's how I got to this point! Blessings!
I was actually crying with laughter when you were cleaning the chair and then you brought it back and said it was a fail and then you covered it up with a pillow. Omg Thankyou ❤️❤️🤣🤣
You better teach! Yeah, nail polish remover! Hello Sweetie! ❤❤❤❤ I like using nail polish remover and run the spot underneath cold water too. Preach it Sis! 👏👏👏
Oh no! 😯 A few sprays with Awesome from the Dollar Tree would've done the job without any harm! You should still try it on the chair. You've got nothing to lose. If you have a Bissell carpet cleaning machine for spots that will work great too.😘
Thank you so much for posting this video. My husband was painting & accidentally brushed the wet door. I thought we were going to have to throw his brand new shorts away. Thankfully, I found your tutorial. All the paint is GONE!!! Thanks again!
If you can, get the chair under the sun and spray it with water, wait until it dries, do it again and again, it will remove the water stains. The trick is to do it on a hot sunny day!
You probably could take the chair apart and just add new fabric !! Or use a cool temp hair blow dryer !! That was a beautiful chair i would try to fix it !! Good luck with that !! 👍
FRUGALNISTA maybe on the next paint job don’t forget to cover furniture or remove it completely from the room and only wear clothing you don’t mind getting paint on including the shoes !! That’s what I do !! lol 😂 Good luck 👍 stay safe 😷
I knew you were going to have a watermark, happens when applying water to furniture. Must be very careful with how much water is used first off, only a dab if at all. Next must soak it up immediately with a very absorbent white towel, soaking up as much as possible. The problem was soaking the spot. Water marks can destroy a piece of furniture, the suggestion to put out in sun is good but it may still appear but worth trying. Never use water if you can help it and if you do very very little spreading it over the area so it does not happen. Thanks for the video.
That's great about the clothes. I hope the chair's situation is resolved. I have had this issue on some fabric. Well, at least you have a plan B with the pillow or throw. 🤞💜
I will definitely keep this in mind when I paint again. Sorry about the chair. When the world opens up you can reupholster the chair. **I got good news!!**🤐🤐
dabosslady76cs just thinking about you...no joke...How to get away with murder just went off and I was wondering if you were watching it. Lil Sis you are blessed and highly favored. God never will forsake you nor your seed and that news 😉😉😉I know it’s BETTER than good💕💕💕
Your solution of Finger nail polish remover with Acetone did not work for me on my work pants (100% cotton). I tried it 2x. I will try rubbing alcohol next.
this is really a great method, but some clothes will start to tear or rip apart by acetone and im trying to remove a stain from a shirt that is that type of material, so i guess i have to keep scrolling....
BloodRed Stars oh noooo I’ve been there before 🤭 I remember once I spilled fingernail polish on my grandmother’s coffee table. I hid that spot up until I went to college 😂😂😂hope this works for you💕
O well, nice try on the chair. I think you need more practice before posting so you can get a positive resolution. As for your garment, lots of work and good efforts. It's recommended next time to cover the chair with a plastic trach bag or something. Really, just use the ladder 🪜 to avoid more problems.😎👍
