Man I'm so glad you grabbed an obs. I've had mines for two years sitting in the garage with no engine and now you done motivated me to get out there and get it going. Brand new handles just suffocating in the box because they been sitting for so long with a bunch of other new from 2021 stuff taking up space. Respect 🙌

🤦‍♂️ all these years I never loosened the three bolts for the lock striker thing. So imagine how difficult all these years of working on OBS trucks have been for me. Thanks for sharing this.

Definitely the easiest ive seen it done. Never thought to undo the lock cylinder, that makes it so much easier lol I'd catch hell putting them back in and trying to not scratch new paint. Thanks again

Getting that lock cylinder back thru and clicked in place can be a pain sometimes. Esecially when you're working around fresh paint job. Those aftermarket handles have gotten better. 20 years ago they were junk and wouldn't hold the lock in place. Good video though, especially with one hand

I’m working on an 01 towncar taking door panels off to the paint the door jams those door panels seem like they not made to be taken off. I will have to hot glue the snap pins back on in order to snap the panel back on
