Hi, I highly Recommend Re-Painting instead of Rubbing Compound. After a Few weeks the Rubbed part WILL lose its lustre. For sure. Tried and tested. Repaint is the best solution.

Mayank 'the hunter' matte paint is very delicate and you cannot polish it since polishes have additives and abrasives that will cause the paint to become even more shiny. As of this point I don’t really have much advice for u other then try to keep it as matte as possible now or get the paint wrapped. You never wanna use a soap/shampoo or wax that isn’t meant for matte paint since they will make the paint glossy/shiny. Chemical Guys have some great matte products to clean and take care of your matte car/motorcycle.

Every bike will have a scratch on it someday. I use Motomax simple polish. Using sand paper is dangerous according to my opinion as it may peel off the paint. Keeping the bike in the sun for long time fades the paint and the colour gets dull.

*Never* laminate a matte color bike it will ruin the paint, just don't. *Don't* wash with soapy water and *don't* rub/buff the paint at all. Just use room temperature water to wash your bike if possible use drinking water to clean it. Congratulations on your bike btw, ride safe
